I've been using hour maids for years but only on an as needed basis. Working full time I do not have time to have a person cleaning all day and I am not comfortable letting someone in my home while I was not there so this company was in and out in an hour and took care of my needs. They are usually on time but sometimes early which is fine with me. I pick up our things so anything that needs dusting or cleaning can be accessed without them moving to many things and less of a risk for anything accidentally getting broken.
Because I do not use on a regular basis I do not get the same crew each time so the quality might vary but not enough for it to bother me. They are always polite and the price is fair for our size house. If we need more done than we communicate that at the time of scheduling and the price/crew and time is adjusted.

Updating my review since they seem to have gotten a little better over the past year or so. (Maybe my original review helped!) They do a good job, quickly, at a fair price. The kitchen and the bathrooms seem to get the best treatment. First one person handles the kitchen on her own. Gets it nice and clean. The others then focus on bathrooms and usually they are done well. In the bedrooms they change the sheets and dust thoroughly.
The rest of the house gets a good dusting which is great since I have allergies. Rooms that are carpeted get a quick vacuuming and the hardwood and tiled rooms get a mopping. So if I were to sum it all up, while it's not a deep cleaning, it's a group of 3-4 people cleaning your house in a whirlwind in under an hour. If that's what you are looking for, I think they do a good job. We've used them for several years.

First time using this service and was terribly disappointed. A crew of 4 house cleaners came; one proceeded to the kitchen, one to the bathroom, one to the bedroom and one started vacuuming. Three of the cleaners did a very good job.the one in the kitchen did absolutely nothing.including not washing the floor! The dust was not wiped up, the crumbs were still there, the wall hangings were not dusted and when I lifted the small rug by the kitchen, there was lint there.
What she did for less than one hour is beyond me. I had to do the cleaning myself. Would NEVER use them or recommend them. I am sorry I offered them coffee, water and gave them cookies. After they left I had to go to work. When I came home and saw the apartment I called the office and didn't receive a response! Do not use them and expect a clean house/apartment!

I hired this company last month and I was not happy with the service. They spent half hour in my basement which is empty (no furniture so not much to clean) and they still failed to un-dust some of the areas. The bathtubs were not cleaned properly either. When I told them about the bathtubs, they said this is the best they can do. I know for a fact that you need to take a brush and use some effort for some of the areas but they said they could only use a mop with bleach with no effort! I am disappointed and will not hire them again.

Wouldn't recommend, the positive is done in 1 hour and 4 woman did come. Sorry but the only room that I would be slightly happy with is the Kitchen. Otherwise just surface cleaning. Used dirty water on my Hardwood floors. Had to air out house and redo floors. To top off left trash bags on my porch!@#$ Not worth $$$
