I wanted to support a local business, but should have trusted my gut on this one. From the start, the owner made it clear that accommodations for the customer aren't a priority. After multiple things in my home were broken during cleans, I called to let the owner know that we would like a different cleaner. Rather than apologizing, the owner let me know that our cleaner was well aware of their process to notify her of broken items, so didn't believe that the items had been broken during cleans (a utility sink was flooded, shower handle broken, shower head broken, kitchen cabinet damaged).
I gave her the benefit of the doubt and allowed her to find another cleaner to send to our home. 3 months later, she finally reached out to let me know she had an opening in the schedule. We've since found another local cleaner that we're extremely pleased with.
