About Us
Report
Pristine Orientals was established to serve the particular needs of owners of Oriental, antique and other high-end area rugs. In 1973, Bill Noyes and Dennis Cleary founded a commercial cleaning business, but found that none of the commonly used commercial methods were truly satisfactory for high quality Oriental rugs.
Services
Report
Pristine Oriental Rug Cleaning Specialists have many rug cleaning services to offer residents and businesses in Franklin County, Massachusetts. A good in-plant operation will walk you through and show you step by step what they do, answer your questions with direct answers and explain anything that you are not clear about.
Rug Washing
Report
There are a lot of methods out there for rug cleaning. Shampoo and extract, foam, truck mount, various dry methods (powder, crystals and sponges), bonnet cleaning and a slew of machines that spray, brush and then suck solution back out in one operation. They all will remove some soil from a rug. They all work on the upper tips or pile of the rug and they all have major limitations.
Our Process
Report
Pristine Oriental Rug Cleaning uses a seven-step process to get your Oriental rug absolutely clean. Dusting is done after the rug is logged in, tagged and inspected. The rug's measurements are taken and recorded along with the results of its inspection and any special notes or customer concerns. The rug is then placed on a rubber grid and compressed air is used to eject dry soils and debris. The rug is dusted several times, alternating between front and back sides, forcing air through the foundation and pile fiber.
