I called Tidy Places based on a recommendation from my neighbor. Pam and I discussed what is best for me. And I think the price is fair. I am at four cleanings now. Every time my home has been cleaned well and of course smells great! Communication is always professional, quick and pleasant. And I like my monthly reminder. I recommend this company; they do a great job.

Tidy Places, having failed to respond to my two emails regarding very poor and extremely disappointing "deep cleaning, " I am submitting my review: First, I called Tidy Places based on reccommendions from Angi's list. Both my wife and myself are not at all happy with the deep cleaning. We wouldn't even consider this a maintenance cleaning.

So much not done, too much time for the work performed. Also, there was no mention of a credit card service fee over $10.00. We didn't want to say anything because we didn't want to jeopardize anyone's employment. The flooring, both first and second floors, was not cleaned well, leaving behind very noticeable, un-cleaned spots and smears; The porcelain sinks and toilets could have been cleaned better; I don't know for sure if the upstairs bathroom floors were cleaned, they don't feel or look better; The floor under the beds, both bedrooms, were not even swept, so I'm not sure that the floors were washed.

They don't look like it. (I had to point this out to the cleaning woman); The entire shower and glass doors in the master bedroom were overlooked (I had to point this out to her as well); The stainless steel appliances were not cleaned; She shook all the throw rugs inside the house, not outside); TV screen, and glass doors of stereo cabinet, not cleaned, as well as the outer glass doors of the fireplace.

It took her eight hours to do what my wife does in one morning. This is Tidy Places's response: Please let us know if you'd like a reclean of the floors, shower doors and your stainless steel appliances. We are happy to schedule a time for you. We can only be successful when we know where we have failed. April is more than happy to return and learn from her mistakes.

I replied (twice), thank you for offering to return. My wife and I would appreciate that very much. When can you schedule a return visit? IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS AND NO CALL BACK! NICE!

Move iN/move out clean. Be prepared to clean anyways! I swept underneath bathroom basin after they said they were done with the upstairs and I found tons of dog hair and a black dog toy, we don't own a dog the previous owners did. If part of team shows up on time they won't start until both have arrived even if 30min later, you will still be charged for the time they sit around and wait. Have supplies on hand as they will come short on supplies and prob still won't clean what they said they would.

Mixed feelings on this company. When we first hired them, our cleaning person was apparently the only one who lived in our town. She did a good job when she came, but we also got three or four last minute cancellations--sometimes twenty minutes before she was supposed to arrive, after my wife and I had spent time making the house ready for them. I understand that things happen, but the company never made any attempts to remedy the situation.

They wouldn't send a different cleaning person (presumably because of where we lived, though I don't know why they agreed to take us on in the first place if that was the issue), they didn't ever offer a discount, or even acknowledge the inconvenience beyond a "Sorry, ___ can't make it today, is there another day that works for you?" After our initial cleaning person left the company, we got a new one, and after one or two visits, the same thing happened--a last minute cancellation, with no attempts to make it right.

And when I said that we were going to stop using their service, the owners didn't seem surprised at all, and didn't make any effort to keep our business. So, we're back on the hunt.

I received a recommendation from a co-worker. Very pleasant to work with and schedule. Paulina showed up on time and ready to work. We asked for a deep clean as this is a rental property and renters moved out and we are trying to get it ready for sale. We left for 3 hours. Not sure what worked was accomplished while we were gone. Bathrooms were not touched, outside balcony was lightly cleaned, windows were not cleaned, kitchen cabinets and applicances were not cleaned.

We did do a walk through and asked her to touch up some items. I spent 3 hours recleaning the next day. Pam did follow up with me to ask about the cleaning. I explained that a light basic cleaning was done not a deep cleaning. I provided photos of the items that were not addressed. She offered to have someone come out again to reclean. I explained that I have already done it.

She offered to clean out house. Due to the virus we did not want to accept that offer. I asked her if she would like to void our original check and I would write and mail her one for what she thought the amount should be for the cleaning that was done. I heard no response from that and just saw that out check was cashed for the full amount. Disappointed in the level and promise of cleaning. Disappointed in how the situation was handled after the fact. I would not recommend them.

4/27/2020 Pamela was given my name on Home Advisors & called me, don't use her. Very arrogant & disrespectful where I could hardly get a word in. I explained what "I" wanted.very limited considering the house would be vacant & had all carpets cleaned & house painted. She kept repeating things I had said no to already. I would try to speak but she wouldn't stop.

This went on and on. Finally she gave a quote.it would take 10-12 hours with 2 people at $49 hour each. I tried to respond and again she kept interrupting till I finally just hung up on her. UPDATE: The response I received shows continued disrespect disregarding the issues and trying to sound sympathetic which she is not. I got the following that should show below my message as well.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Horrible quality of work performed on my home. I paid $252 ($36 an hour) for a so called "deep cleaning" on April 12th 2019. My house is an average 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Nothing fancy. $252 CASH for a terrible job. I was never informed over the phone when we discussed details that I needed to provide a toilet brush, therefore they never TOUCHED the insides of any of my toilets, nor did the 2 women there doing the job tell me I needed one.

They kept their mouth shut and waited for me to hand them the money, then they left without saying a word about it. The pictures I am providing were taken the second they left. When I called the owner to complain, she said "oh yes, my girls called me and told me you didn't have a brush. You should have read the website". She said she'd have someone come back on Monday (mind you this was Friday and I was having guests over the weekend so I had to reclean everything myself). We asked for half of the money back and never ever got a response. She had my cash already so she didn't care to make it right.

Way too expensive for the service received. Albeit the ladies cleaned.well, let's just say that was about it. A "deep clean" showroom ready, not what we received. Charging $36/hour for a cleaning service - especially one who provides NO SUPPLIES OR EQUIPMENT, better be more than perfect. Well.it wasn't. Let's think about this.$36/hour.

I thought that was what she charged. THEN it was $36/hour per cleaning lady. A talented tradesman would charge about $50/hour. A cleaning lady is not that. My bad for thinking that at that price my home would look magical. Would absolutely not recommend.

Honest, realistic expectations and an earnest effort to communicate are critical and necessary parts of any ongoing relationships my wife and I have with professionals who do work for us, from hair stylists to home cleaners. Tidy Places has been coming to our home for some 18 months. The work Tidy Places crews have done to keep our home clean has been so consistent and good that we've never had the need for anyone to come back for retouching. That's blessing for us, especially with three hairy boy cats. And, when we saw something we didn't like or had a question, Pam addressed it with us in a timely fashion, and almost always offered to send her folks back to make it right. Plus, they made recommendations to us about cleaning supplies and other tools they needed to help them do their jobs better.

We listened, gave them what they needed and they produced good results too. Again, when the lines of communication are open, good things can happen. The level of professionalism shown by Pam's crews has always been top-notch. Our highest recommendation goes to Heather, who treats our home like we believe she does her own. You can't ask for anything better than that.

We used Tidy Places for several months as we prepared to put our house on the market. TP also provided Move Out Cleaning and coordinated their work around the movers so both the move and the cleaning could be done the same day. The owner stopped by the house on the day of the Move Out to see how things were doing. We were impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of the workers and with the results. Today, I had Tidy Places come to clean my home for the first time. First remark, WOW! I mean, seriously, I am incredibly impressed! I'm a pretty clean person to begin with, but I've been proven how much I'm slaking in cleaning. Tidy Places touched everything in my home! And I mean that in a good way. I don't think one area was missed being clean. I even have hotel-like folded toilet paper. (It's all about the small details) My dishes from my breakfast were all washed and drying, my floors are shining clean and even my bed skirt (which I had been meaning to fix) had been readjusted so it wasn't slightly falling off.

It just smells great in my home! I couldn't be more impressed with the results. Pam was incredible to talk to. She's just a happy person and it made the process really easy. It's also just nice to work with people that are happy. She made sure I had everything ready for the cleaning lady to arrive. It was just an easy process. Makes me think, why haven't I had a cleaning service come to my home before?! Having this off of my to-do list is an amazing feeling. I could keep raving, but I think the gist of this review is to say, if you need a cleaning service. call Tidy Places!

Do not trust this company! Pam's crew scoured my brand new stainless steel appliances with something abrasive and left circular scratches on my fridge, range, and dishwasher. She tried to blame a family member, refused to take responsibility, and left me with no option other than court action. I never post negative reviews but she has forced this action.

I will not allow Pam to try to repair her crew's errors until she admits it is their fault. Which she refuses to do. Mistakes are made, a reputable company owns up to them and works to repair them. At this point she is blaming everyone but her crew!

Recently, I have become disappointed with Tidy Places services. They have begun substituting cleaners without consistent, prior notification. Moreover, their standards for cleanliness have declined. This week, however, their cleaner accidentally turned on stove gas while cleaning that created gas leak that lasted 7 hours before discovery. Nicor was called, and we were forced to evacuate house for four hours to air out. No refund or action has been taken by Tidy Places to make this right. Disappointing.

I scheduled a deep cleaning and was quoted $35.00 per hour. I was never informed of a coupon which there is one for &30.00 off. I was sent 3 girls and when they left after 10+ hours I inspected. Here are some observations: White doors not wiped around handles, soap dish in shower was not cleaned out. Residue from over cleaner all over my stove so I needed to redo that. Furniture not dusted fully. Stairs not thoroughly vacuumed. Streaks on glass and mirrors. French door glass going into office not cleaned. Not using again.

This is a two part review, I first found Tidy Places for my wife as a Xmas gift, it took my wife about a year to call them to schedule a deep cleaning. Now my wife is a cleaning nut (loves vacuum lines.), and has had a exceptional cleaning person in the past which she measures all cleaning associates to.the bar is set high! So after the first cleaning, my wife was not happy, and was not satisfied with the hardwood floors, and the vacuum lines!

Now this is where the review gets good.my wife contacted the office and explained the dissatisfaction with the overall cleaning, the owners offered to send another associate out for cleaning, which they did and it was better (not great) but better. My wife did like the owners and their attention to please, so she decided to contact them again at a later date to setup another cleaning.

Then came Katie from Tidy Places.my wife LOVES Katie! She does a fantastic job in cleaning floors, the entire house.and especially the correct vacuum lines! The house is clean and smells clean, we now only use Katie! I think cleaning and cleaning companies are hit or miss, you need to communicate with them on what you want, and expect, the owners of Tidy Places listen and react to your needs, if they don't get it right the first time, talked to them, they will listen. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I own an 1100 sq ft townhome 2 bed and 1.5 bath. My place is vacant, first lady came and appears vacuumed and did a service cleaning for the upstairs and bathrooms. Mind you, aside from the kitchen, this place wasn't dirty. She didn't touch the kitchen, all appliances had build up, counters had food, debris, floors were all dirty.

When I walked in to inspect, I thought It was a joke. I called Pam who stated the lady was there from 8-5. WHAT! I could've done a better job myself in three hrs (They charge hourly). She offered to send another cleaner the follow day which she did. I questioned the time of the first lady and Pam got extremely defensive naming all the duties that the first lady performed.

How does Pam know if she wasn't there? She stated there was grease on the kitchen cabinets which took the first lady hrs. WAIT, she didn't touch the kitchen but she wiped down the cabinets and nothing else? At this point, Pam said anything to justify charging me 9 hrs of labor. I pleaded my case based on facts and offered to show her before pics stating the first women did not do 9 hrs.

I asked for a return call with the total amount that would be charge, no return call and I see a pending charge on credit card. I am really beside myself. I went there when the second lady was there, she did an okay job, however, all the vents still need dusting, I even had to request her to wipe the storm door as she was leaving. I'm a very reasonable person and if Pam would've taken a more "customer service" approach, I'm sure this review would've been different. You've been warned!

We have been using Tidy Places for a couple of years now on an intermittent basis. We have had some really exceptional people come to our home, very efficient and pleasant. Because we both work, we have to have someone come on a Saturday. Our only concern was that we could never get the same person to come, until now. Danielle has been here twice and she is a gem! We will use this service more often as long as we can have some consistency in the person who comes.

I am an extremely neat person and so I do not normally get cleaning services to visit my home as I do it myself (and do it myself better than they would). Not the case with Tidy Places -- originally we called them because I was postpartum and needed the extra help but we have continued service because the woman who has visited, Obdulia, is incredible.

She literally finds every little crevice and gets in there, oftentimes getting on her hands and knees to clean. Originally we hired her to do a "deep cleaning" (which was amazing) but since then she has been here and each cleaning is just as good as the first. She is the only person I have had clean my house that can actually do a better job than I.

Not to mention, she is a sweetheart. My only complaint would be that scheduling seems to be difficult. I need someone to visit in afternoons due to having a contractor here in the morning yet there always seems to be nothing available in the afternoons. I also contact Tidy Places each month to schedule something yet I wish they were more proactive about contacting me, and trying to plan something in advance so that I can get my favorite cleaning lady as well as an afternoon scheduled.

Pam was friendly and very flexible in scheduling. The cleaning was very thorough. The price seems typical, but I was particularly interested to support a local small business over some large corporate owned cleaning service.

I called to set up a cleaning, I haven't been able to get ahead now that I'm back in school. Got a date scheduled, I didn't ask any questions, being I've never really used a cleaning company I didn't think to ask anything. I figured she'd go over everything with me. She told me 4-5 hours for a deep cleaning ( baseboards, fans, door frames and blinds) in addition to the regular cleaning.

I assumed (stupid me) that there would be 2 cleaning ladies. With the size of my house that's what would be needed since I don't have it regularly cleaned. The lady came and I was running out the door to work so barley said hello to her, came home at lunch as I didn't know how much I'd owe. She was still here so I left and came back an hour later and paid her.

While it did look better than when I left once I looked around it was terrible. Not to mention she used my cleaning supplies which is fine but being no one told me that I didn't leave anything out and had most of my products in the basement which she wasn't cleaning so I'm not sure what she used. There was dust on most of my picture frames, there were still dog paw prints all over my hardwood floors, my dogs were gone for the day so they weren't there to leave the prints, there was dirt on the bathroom floor, no baseboards or door frames or fans had been done, there was toothpaste in the kids bathroom still, there were handprints still on my tv stand and the worst part was the main floor bathroom was not touched at all.

I have 2 young boys who constantly miss the toilet and there was pee all on the back of the seat still! While I'm unimpressed with the work I fully blame the owners for not informing me about the cleaning supplies needing to be supplied by me and for thinking 1 person could do a deep cleaning in that amount of time in they quoted in a house my size.

She didn't even fully clean my house much less do a deep cleaning! I'm sure the lady was flying to be done in the allotted time. I did email the owners to let them know how disappointed I was in the work that was done. That was 2 days ago. I never heard back. Don't use them. They do poor work and don't back it up.

Update: Pam did send a different lady the next day to finish what the first kind of started. This lady did a fine job, but only on the specific areas that I pointed out due to limited time. I was not charged for this second pass, and was offered the chance to have her come back again if she didn't finish everything. I do think there were a few more things that could have been done, but I didn't have the time to be at my vacant Townhome for another day.

I really wish the initial cleaning would have been successful. I will still have to eventually clean my stairs and hardwood floors thoroughly before the tenants move in. If the second lady came on the first day, I think the whole experience would have been much better. It sure seemed like she did more in 2 hours than the first one did all day. I am satisfied with the customer service following my poor initial experience.

Have been a customer of Tidy places for the last couple of years and have had very good service. This last week I had Naty to clean and wow she did a great job and paid a lot of attention to the little details. I did not have any complaints in the past but this week was the best yet. Very professional yet friendly company to work with, I will continue to be a customer.

I used Tidy Places for over a year, and was pretty happy with their services until recently. I never had an issue with any of the people that cleaned my house except the last one. After one of the cleanings, my son's brand new Kindle Fire HD was missing. I turned my house upside down looking for it for a over a week until I started to believe it wasn't misplaced, rather it was stolen.

I contacted Amazon because I noticed it had been de-registered. After I was given the exact date, which was the same date the cleaning lady was here, and time it was de-registered, as well as the date that someone attempted to re-register it. I contacted Tidy Place's owner and was informed that I would need to have a police report filed, and a copy of the receipt for the Kindle.

After I sent all required documents to the owners, I was informed that they would not replace the Kindle, rather only offered to give me $200 off cleaning services. I believe this was not handled well by the owners, considering I was a regular customer. I no longer wanted any of the cleaning people in my house in fear other stuff could be taken. I was told that in all the years that they had been in business, they had never had an employee steal from a customer.

I also found out from the officer handling my case that the employee that had cleaned my house the day the Kindle went missing, was leaving the company and moving back to Florida, which made me even more convinced that she had stolen my son's Kindle. I once again contacted the owners and told them what the officer had told me, and voiced my concerns once again, and was still offered only the $200 off cleaning services.

I do not believe this is fair nor good customer service. It appears they are more concerned with their insurance premiums than losing a customer. I will never use this company again, which is very sad.

A family friend was cleaning my home for about 3 yrs and she recently had a baby so I had to find a cleaning service. Very happy to have found Tidy Places! Professional yet friendly. They do a great job. And the price per cleaning is very reasonable. Oh and what I really like is that they use the products and equipment you have at home. :D
