Ridge Cleaners

I took my Tuxedo in for cleaning/pressing and repair to my trousers. It was there nearly two weeks. I received a text that it was done. I inquired about the cost and thought it was rather inexpensive. I inquired further and was told my trousers were unrepairable. So I asked why wasn't I made aware of this prior? I received a "sorry text." So now I'm actually due $47.00 for cleaning and pressing my jacket alone and the sleeves were let down 2 inches. Yes that's very expensive to me!

I live in North Olmsted and work in Parma. I used this cleaner opposed to a closer one because I heard great things about them. I got out of work a few minutes later than usual (5:20 instead of 5:10) and when I got stuck in the evening traffic I tried calling at 5:53 to see if they could put my clothes in the pickup locker since I had a feeling I would not make it by 6.

I got no answer when I called and when I got there at 6:03 I tried explaining what happened to the woman working and she was very rude and told me that she did not care and they were closed. So not only did I waste gas and time coming out there but I also have no pants to wear to work tomorrow. I will be looking for a new dry cleaner because of this.

Altered my dress in a little less than 2 weeks. They were cheap and the dress looked amazing!

Quick service, great results! They are so lovely, provide text updates and free delivery. I wouldn't dream of trusting anyone else with my dry cleaning.

Had a bit of sticker shock on the costs when things weren't exactly clear on their pricing, but Shelly rectified things very quickly and I will continue my business there. My advice to everybody: make sure you're clear on the costs of your alterations/cleaning before you leave the store, that way there's no surprises.

I would not recommend ridge cleaners for any type of alterations. The prices are extremely high. I had a very simple Sun dress hemmed on the bottom and about An inch taken off the straps and they charge me $33. And it was a very simple dress to do if I could have done it myself I would have. The lady that check me out was very rude.

I brought one of my suits here for a simple dry cleaning and when I came to pick it up the staff had lost my custom fit dress pants. I asked them if they could look for the pants that evening and to give me an update that evening as I had an event the following morning. They never called and I had to visit my tailor and have a new pair of pants custom fitted the evening before my event.

I called the following day and they said they would look for it and follow up with me during the week. They never followed up so I went to the store to get a refund for my lost pants. It took two more weeks for me to receive a refund (three weeks since the garments were lost) and I only received a follow up on one of the multiple occasions I asked for one.

I understand there is human error but for a company who's mission statement is "Our mission is to serve others" they didn't do a very good job. My suit jacket was cleaned well but I will be taking my service elsewhere from this day forth and informed my tailor of the poor customer service I received.

I recently switched to Ridge Cleaners for all my dry cleaning needs following a string of bad experiences with another local Avon Lake dry cleaner. I was surprised to see what I've been missing! The people were friendly, the lobby wasn't a sweat shop with an annoying motion sensor going off every 3 seconds, and my shirts and pants were pressed nicely.

I like to work with local businesses and family run businesses. I also like to work with companies that support local businesses like the North Coast Chamber of Commerce and the Power of More. Keep up the high level of service and you'll have my business and I'll refer my friends.

Fantastic staff and always helpful. Secret tip, they'll hook you up with a coupon if you forgot yours at home. Plus they now offer "just in case" items like shirts, ties and socks. And they'll let you do the "Monday morning make over" in the dressing room rather than changing your shirt in the parking by lot on the way to the airport. Admit it, we've all done it.

You might have to dip into your savings account if you get your dry cleaning done here. I have a couple of dress pants that they charged over $9 for. Nothing fancy about these pants. One pair was wool and the other was just a basic pair of dress pants from Nordstrom Rack. $12 for a suit coat (not including the suit pants). I recently move to Avon Lake from Chicago and what would cost me $35 - $40 for a load of dry cleaning in Chicago cost me $85 at Ridge Cleaners. I found the one place in Avon Lake where the cost of living is more expensive than Chicago.
