Carpet Cleaning
Our 10-step carpet cleaning process removes deep-seated dirt while preserving fiber integrity. Using truck-mounted extraction and EPA-registered neutralizers, we eliminate allergens and extend carpet lifespan. Commercial-grade vacuums capture 98% of pet dander and fine particles before wet cleaning begins.
Commercial Carpet Cleaning
Specialized low-moisture encapsulation cleaning for business environments. Our polymer detergent system dries carpets in 2-3 hours, minimizing business disruption. We service retail stores, medical offices, and industrial facilities with minimal furniture displacement requirements.
Upholstery Cleaning
Five-step upholstery restoration using horsehair brushing and Scotchgard-equivalent protectors. Our pH-balanced cleaners safely remove body oils and pet residues from delicate fabrics. Included stain-guard technology prevents future soiling on sofas, chairs, and dining room seating.
Tile & Grout Cleaning
High-pressure steam cleaning removes grout buildup without damaging tile surfaces. We apply commercial-grade sealers to protect against future staining. Our process restores ceramic and porcelain tile floors to like-new condition by eliminating years of accumulated residue.
Carpet Repairs
Professional carpet repair services address bleach spots, pet damage, and seam separations. We use donor carpet patches and power stretching equipment to eliminate wrinkles. Our technicians match patterns and textures for seamless repairs in high-traffic areas.

My carpets were cleaned in a timely and professional manner. Keith called ahead of time to let me know he was running a few minutes behind schedule, which I really appreciated. It took us a few minutes to be on the same page with exactly what areas needed to be cleaned and what the total cost would be, but once Keith showed me the work order I was able to clearly see the breakdown. Keith did a great job making sure I was thoroughly content with the carpets before he left. I also appreciated Tiana's great customer service when I scheduled the appointment.

We haven't had our carpets professionally cleaned in years. Rodney at Modern Carpet Cleaning did a FANTASTIC job! We had an unsightly stain that trailed through our hallway we couldn't get out for the life of us and Rodney got it out without issue. He was here right on time and when we weren't 100% ready for for him he was very flexible and came back without issue at the new agreed upon time. He was none intrusive and went above and beyond what I thought he was going to be able to do with our limited space and big furniture. I will absolutely use Modern Carpet Cleaning again and highly recommend it to others.

HELLO CHICO, after years of searching, we found the BEST carpet cleaning company in Chico, and the name is (drum roll please) Modern Carpet Cleaning!! Curtis was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things cleaning carpets! He was very generous with his time and skill. He had finished an earlier job ahead of schedule and called me to provide some options for him to come early or whatever I needed to do, which I really appreciated since I had to negotiate my work schedule. Thank you Curtis. You did MORE than I asked, and I greatly noticed and appreciated that!! You will be who I call next time!

The upstairs carpets in my new house needed a serious stretch (as well as shampoo service), and I know that it was quite the job, but I was seriously impressed with the work that the technician (I believe his name was Dustin) did. He was very friendly and nice, and worked really hard to make it look great. I sincerely appreciate his work and the great customer service - if I need any more carpet cleaning I won't be calling anybody else. Thank you Dustin and Modern.
