With a dedicated staff of 35 employees, Colonial is able to draw upon a combined 75 years of experience to provide industry knowledge that is second to none. Our staff specializes in abrasive cleaning, coating removal, various protective coating applications, wet paint and powder coating.

Pat provides the company with a long-term vision, as well as makes all the financial and business decisions for the company as she builds customer and employee relationships. During the workday, she keeps track of production and handles day-to-day problems as they arise. Pat is a busy lady. When she isn't focusing on Colonial, she is focusing on her home.

With a little too much time left on his hands, Tom decided to sandblast and repaint some of his used farm equipment. The neighbors took note and asked him to do the same for them. And, with that, a company was born. Over the decades, Colonial Surface Solutions has grown to become so much more than a simple sandblast and paint shop in Columbus Grove, Ohio.

Avoid this place. I've had a pick up at this company. Agreed weight for load was 30000 lbs. They loaded on trailer commodity with twice weight (60000 lbs). My truck and trailer does have installed scales. Trailer scale showed more than 50000 lbs (shoud be not more than 40000 lbs). Worst thing is that they did not recognize their fault and were telling me that my scale is wrong and told to the broker that driver is lying. Also, staff is unprofessional. Especially shipping office and loaders, who don't know their job.
