Attempted to ruin my $1,500 sport coat. They broke a single button and rather than just notify me and let me deal with it the local staff decided to remove ALL the jacket buttons and replace them. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. Unfortunately, those who replaced at the local Prestige have zero professional tailoring experience. Staff claimed "attpempt to fix" is standard policy. So make a mistake worse through active destruction? Crooked, clown buttons, sewn through the lining of the jacket, and messed up the hem. And they still charged me for the cleaning!

I dropped off a uniform for alterations (adding patches) and dry cleaning due to the more delicate nature of the material. The alteration was a complete disaster with the patches being placed on the inner portion of the sleeve as opposed to the outside (as I showed them and were pinned to the uniform). Additionally, the uniform came back covered in lint with only looking like it had been pressed.
The alterations were a total waste of money as the patches had to be removed. For future needs I will choose a true alteration professional and go to a different dry cleaner to ensure items are cleaned and not just pressed.
