I needed a last minute cleaning service for my apartment and Weekend Maids came to my rescue! My cleaners were Deysi and Luis. They were very nice and worked efficiently in a timely manner. The area that needed the most cleaning was my bathroom and I was so happy to see how clean they made it! I also appreciated getting $45 off for my first cleaning, which made their service more affordable compared to others in DTLA. However, I was unsure if microwave/fridge cleaning (inside and out) was a part of the service and those appliances only got cleaned on the outside.

The back of my couch did not get cleaned as well. No worries though because I could ask for these specifics during the next service. Overall, I had a great experience and will be calling Weekend Maids again!

I am now a regular client and have gotten great results each time! The cleaners always show up on time or early and can clean to satisfaction unsupervised. If you are looking for a cleaning service, I would definitely give them a try! Jose and his partner did a great job cleaning my house last week. He even cleaned and organized the kitchen drawers! He is excellent for deep cleaning service.

I hired Weekend maids for a deep cleaning on my home. I have had a rough year in 2021 including several deaths in the family due to Covid. I am disabled and because of all this, no one has been taking care of the house. Well, Marcella and Vanessa came out and took great care of my home! These ladies went above and beyond to give me the best cleaning and maid service I ever could have asked for.

They shampooed the carpets. They cleaned everything. They even arranged my knickknacks and cupboards that were in a bit of a disarray. They were fast, honest, timely, and responsible. When they were finished, I was so thrilled, I came to tears about how great my home looked. Just the very best! And, all the special touches and everything perfect in their cleaning service.

I would highly recommend Weekend maids. I am currently working with my budget to see if I can go ahead and get them out here on a regular basis. They offer some great deals and I am extremely satisfied with the service.

Carla did a really nice job. She arrived within 15 minutes of the quoted time and was fast and thorough. The company was very communicative and was flexible when I mentioned a concern about availability of parking on weekends (be sure that you DO have parking available or schedule on a day/time that you know street parking is more free, otherwise they will charge you). Very reasonable rates from what I could tell compared to other quotes I received, about $50 per man-hour.

DO NOT USE! Poor service! We ordered a moving in cleaning, 2 buddies 3 hours. We requested to remove all the dust, especially on the ceiling and wall, at the very beginning, and both the manager and buddies agreed. After 3 hours, the dust on the ceiling, wall, and widow sieves are still there. The manager said even though we requested, they didn't promise!

It doesn't worth it. It not only cost your money but also cost your time to complain and digest what they did. The company doesn't take care of the quality of the service. Just trying to get more money from customer by not doing what they promised.

Weekend Maids really pulled through for us. We needed help getting our apartment ready for an inspection and Maria came in and took care of everything. Jonathan and Alice coordinated our appointment and kept up great communication. We just purchased a three month plan to have a maid come in once a month. Very happy. Service: Deep clean

Maid services communication was poor! A huge language barrier! The maids were late! I changed my schedule to meet with them early! Poor choice for maid services. I will not use this company again! At the last 10 minutes of cleaning I was hopeful for the services to be completed No not the case! They started extremely late, and very slow in cleaning.

However I was told to may extra for the lacking in services! The job was never completed! I will see them in court! Complete services were not rendered! AVOID THIS CLEANING SERVICES AT ALL COST, PLEASE DONT BE FOOLED BY THE NICE OPERATOR!

We have used Weekend Maids twice so far and are really satisfied with couples performance. They were both task organized and very proficient. Punctual on each visit which is very convenient for us as we have grandchildren that arrive mid morning. We communicate our areas of concern and they both acknowledge and attend to those areas. Weekend maids is very affordable to our budget and we plan on putting on our calendar every 3 weeks to help in keeping our home clean.

This was the worst clean ever. Things like the baseboards and blinds were not even touched. The floors were not clean. We paid for two workers for at least four hours and they sent out one inexperienced person instead who was overwhelmed and could not get anything done properly. My management are now charging me for a whole new cleaning crew as they said the place looks untouched.

Save your money and sanity and go with a different who gives you what you pay for. One that doesn't force one contracted cleaner on you when you paid for two. Please find my yelp review I'll post pics there and you can see the horrible job that was done.

I had a good experience with Weekend Maids. They were friendly, and easy to talk to. They provided multiple reminders, and check-ins, in advance to cleaning. The highlight of using this service, is finding Iris. P. Iris is a quick, efficient, and thorough cleaner! I would highly recommend asking for her when you use this service.

This comment is only for the customer service aspect of my experience with Weekend Maids. The customer service representative, Memphis, was extraordinary. He resolved the issue I had with the cleaning services provided, and he helped me to secure additional services to clean my fabric couch and rug. I was reluctant to get additional services from this company originally; however, after speaking with Memphis in customer service I was convinced that I could really on him to assure that the services would meet my expectations and the company would get the job done. I would recommend using this company because they have someone like Memphis working in customer service to help get the job done right.

The team arrived in the window they said they would. They were very friendly and polite. They missed dusting on the tops of bookshelves and dressers. There was not as much attention to detail that I experienced with my regular cleaner, Martha. Service: Standard clean

We were in a crunch looking for reliable cleaners for our vacation rental property and came across Weekend Maids- boy were we happy we did! I was able to speak to a representative right away over the phone which is so rare these days. Memphis (the representative) was extremely helpful, thorough and was able to answer all my questions and even notify me about a discount we were eligible for. When the day for the cleaning came, The cleaners showed up on time, were friendly and did a great job. We highly recommend weekend Maids!

I had some tenants that moved out of our rental and left it the nastiest place I've ever seen! Even the cleaners said that it was the worst that they had ever seen! Elvia did such a good job cleaning the grime off the walls, doors and was able to peel off the numerous stickers that were pasted on over the house from the prior kids. It was unreal, but she did an awesome job and I will definitely be calling her back in the future.

I highly recommend her and will ask for her services next time. Weekend Maids were very accommodating to my schedule and was able to get them in within 2 days notice. Thank you so much!

We hired Weekend Maids for a move out cleaning on Saturday August 7th. Our house was completely empty, so there was nothing in the way of cleaning. I was out of the house to allow them to do their thing, but I got a call from the dispatch team asking if we wanted to pay for two more hours, as the domestic worker said they needed more time to finish the job.

I agreed to the $100 charge for an additional two hours, I wanted it done and right of course. We arrived at our home after the cleaning to do our move out inspection with our landlord. OMG am I glad I got there 40 minutes early so I could panic clean before his arrival. As soon as I opened the door I saw tufts of my dog's hair sitting on the floor along with dust/dirt.

I walked through the house. while they did dust the ceiling like I asked, they completely missed crucial elements. The vanity mirror was untouched, NONEA of the floors had been swept/mopped, and it looked like a greasy rag was used for the entire kitchen. There were streaks on all the counters and microwave showing the wipe marks. After the 40 minutes of cleaning, we did our walk through and our landlord gave us a list of things to re-clean.

Three of us were there for an additional 90 minutes cleaning. I didn't get pictures of everything, because as I said, literally panic cleaning trying to get stuff presentably clean before my landlord walked in. If he had walked in when I did, I have no doubt another cleaning fee would have been coming out of our deposit. If you do hire Weekend Maids, I would highly recommend being present for the entire duration to ensure your house is in fact cleaned. Personally, I would recommend finding a different cleaning service, otherwise you're going to end up paying for Weekend Maids and paying for a different service to come in and do it right. Save yourself $380 and just go straight to another service.

Do not hire. I hired them to send 2 maids for three hours in a empty updated home with new floors and appliances. I was not at the home but my Son came just as she finished. He did walk through and said ok. When I arrived 20 minuets later I was so disappointed. Nothing was clean, new stainless dishwasher, refrigerator, stove top, cook top all brand new all had fingerprints from installation.

New vinyl plank flooring smeared with residue. 3 new bathroom toilets still dirty. Upon viewing security camera they only sent one maid that spent a great deal of time talking outside on her cell phone. Spoke with Salvador in complaint department. He said nothing he could do because my Son did the walk through with maid. In the meantime I had to hustle to try and clean up home before staging furniture truck arrived.

If you want clean.do not use this service. It will be a waste of your hard earned money. If you have small children or grandchildren they would do a better job. Does not deserve 1 star.

They will steal from you! DO NOT HIRE! I hired weekend maids to do a move out cleaning. I told them that there were still some items in the house that needed to go to storage and asked them not to go into the garage or touch anything in the garage. The cleaners called me to ask if they could throw out the stuff under the sink, mostly old cleaning supplies, and I said they could but they should not throw anything else in the house out including my other cleaning supplies around the house, anything left in the cabinets, and definitely not to touch anything in the garage.

The cleaners stole all of my cleaning supplies from all areas of the house, they took everything in the garage including my tablet, my kid's tablet, tools, my other cellphone, shoes, and various other items. I called the company to complain and get my stuff back and the cleaners only returned the broken items, the shoes that were inexpensive, and some cleaning supplies.

The cleaners that returned some of my items said that they threw everything else away. The company refused to help solve the problem and I am out thousands of dollars worth of property. This company is a nightmare. It's what everyone worries about when hiring cleaners. Don't do it!

Worst experience ever. Hired them for three hours, they left 20 mins early. I hired then to clean three bedrooms and two bathrooms but they did only one bedroom and one bathroom. I had to call agency to remind them what I paid them for. I expressed my discontent with them over an email. Got a call from their manager who promised to call back and send me and email. But never got back. Super unprofessional. Do not recommend hiring them - they will disappoint you. Also, they came 1 and half hour late.

Stay away from this company. They agreed to charge $190 for a five hour cleaning for an Airbnb property. She asked for one extra hour payment after four hours in the job. After 8 hrs of arrival, the maid was still inside the property. The maid left the property with job unfinished with dirty floor, dirty sheets, smelly bathroom, dusty surfaces. I asked the company to make up for the cleaning or refund half of the payment.

The company denied by saying "you need to have an eight hours of cleaning time". I told the manager: "if I pay you eight hours, that means you are charging $500 for this cleaning. There is no way any one would be willing to pay you for an Airbnb cleaning for $500!"

Not Happy : 1st service was great. 2nd service Yikes! Paid Cash to cleaning ladies and the company now reports to me, the never got the Payment. Not Good. Due to untrustworthy employees, I will not use this company again.

This place doesn't even deserve a one star. We have been using the service for two years and they don't know what it means to clean and put in the effort. When you ask them to properly clean something, they give attitude and act like they are doing me a favor. Sorry, last I checked I'm paying you to clean and not stand there and give attitude.

You have to tell them to move stuff around to clean, and they can't even do that. One of them even complained in Spanish "this is too much work, I don't like to work a lot." Seriously, I'm asking you to spray something in the bathroom and you are going to argue over that?! No sense of mopping, vacuuming, which products to use, and moving around their lazy butts.

You have to tell them 5 times to move things around when cleaning. They are using windex to clean wood furniture which you are not supposed to use. One of the older cleaning lady cleaning the shower with her sneakers on! Her shoes has more dirt and germs than my tub. She is making it even more dirty rather than cleaning it. Worst service ever and not recommending this place to anyone. Telling all of my other family members to cancel this cleaning service because they have no sense of cleanliness.

At least hire people who can speak somewhat English and know what it means to be clean. They are definitely not weekend maids, they are lazy maids. Avoid at all cost! No sense of customer service.

They never showed up during the appointment. They offered to reschedule but I cannot deal with unreliable service when the whole point is that I do not have enough time to clean. There are better services out there--cut out the middle man and just ask for direct referrals from people you know. That's worked out much better for me.

If I could give no stars I would I have been a customer for this company since 2011 maybe a little longer. Everything was going OK until 2013 and then that's when horrible service came into play, and that's not even half of what I'm about to explain to you. Today's cleaning ended in a police report: the police report is below if you feel you want more information then please contact me here other than that I strongly advise for your family safety and the safety and well-being and peace of mind of yourself do not use this company.

This is the police report: Cleaners William and Arceli Hernandez. Sonia, her boss is Rosia: 315 her boss is Andy: 303. Owner.? Had house cleaners and there was a miss communication on a propane tank that they wanted to take out of the back of the truck on the street. I said no that is ours. I called the company to report the cleaners observation of the propane and that he wanted to take it. (Because he had broken English it sounded as though he took it out of the backyard.

So I was confused I dont know why he needed to be in my backyard. But later on I realized that his story changed and I he actually wanted the propane tank out of the back of a truck on the street. So crazy. I know.) The company called him back and said I accused him of taking it. He called my cell phone and left a message saying I don't need to call anyone and I don't need to say anything and that he didn't take anything.

I gave him my husbands number my husband called him. My husband asked why would he be look at other people's property to take items he needs, William then proceeds to say derogatory things in Spanish about me like puta madre (fuck your mother) and then starts saying MS 13 and Sur Tres. And other gang affiliations. I contacted the police and they said rather be safe than sorry with comments like that.

Police case number162259550 This is unacceptable on all levels. The house looks terrible and the cleaners went to my neighbors to gain a "witness". What type of business allows this and then still charges full price? I'm at loss of words and feel an obligation to other customer to warn them about this. I called the company back and the first customer service representative I explained the situation to and she said that he was upset about the situation.

And that other house cleaners offer to give the cleaners items. I said I totally understand that but do other housecleaners go in somebody else's house, somebody else's property and say "hey can I have that or can I have this or I could really use this you don't need it". Who wants somebody in your house looking at your things and seeing how it would be beneficial for them to have it. I don't get it.

Had 2 people clean the house and after 2 hours, the house was not cleaned properly. Dusting was poor or not done. An orange spill stained my grout in the bathroom (not sure what they spilled). The floors still looked dirty. They sent another crew to clean up (3 people, 30 minutes) and there was no way they could fix all that wasn't done. They left without saying anything (they did make me check the kitchen floors and the bathroom), and I found that to be rude. Never again. And since it's a referral agency, you never know who you are going to get. We will stick with The Maids.

I would never use this service again. I requested a deep cleaning service for my condo to get it rent ready. My place was not cleaned well, just surface cleaned. I spent at least 2 hours finishing the job. Not only did the maids do a half-assed job, but they stole my new broom! I contacted the company twice and no return call/resolution/apology.

Well I don't think so. The offers they sent me did not apply to me, always left me feeling gyped and scammed, I've used them 3x the 2nd time it looked like they used some sort of aluminum/lead cream to clean the toilet - and it smelled of metal as well. This lasted about 2 months. They denied the cleaners used something weird. v-annoyed 3rd times a charm though, They forgot to bill me and contacted me 4 months after the fact demanding $$ or else sending me on to collection.

When they called to collect They did not provide proof of service, which I asked for then had to validate they did not bill me. This really ticks me of - how they treated me to collect threatening to send me to collects. Will treat you the same. On the service I feel I was over charged and paying a referral service fee on top of a normal fee. On a positive note, they did show up on short notice and regardless it's nice to walk in and know your place has been cleaned.

I had two mostly awful experiences with this service, due to scheduling. The first time I called in I requested a specific time window. About 4 days before my service, they called me to say that window was not available, and that the cleaners would be arriving at 1pm. Ok fine, I rearranged my schedule to accommodate this. The day of the cleaning, they sent a maid during my originally requested window, so there was no one home.

The maid ended up having to leave and then they sent another set of people, who ended up being 2 hours late. I thought this might have been a freak occurrence, so since the actual cleaning service wasn't bad, I decided to give them another chance. I scheduled service for 12/18 on the 1st of the month, thus giving them almost 20 days to schedule the service.

About 4 days before my scheduled cleaning, I called to check when my cleaners would arrive. They told me they hadn't found any yet, and that I couldn't cancel because I was within their FOUR DAY cancellation window. Thus I was held hostage until I "may or may not" get maid service. I called back on the day before my scheduled service and they STILL had not scheduled it, and, despite the fact that I got a confirmation from them with the correct day, they said that my service was scheduled for that day after I scheduled it, so I never even got my service! If a company who specializes in scheduling services cannot successfully schedule a service within 20 days, there is something seriously WRONG. I DO NOT recommend.

This is a review of the scheduling service, only. Friendly representative, good pricing, and prompt response time. Hope the cleaning goes as smoothly as the initial interaction with the agency.

I had 3 cleanings scheduled for a vacation rental. They completely MISSED the first cleaning without telling me. In fact, to the opposite, I got a phone call that confirmed the appointment. When I figured it out and called, they offered a $10 discount on my next cleaning. WHAT?!?! You missed a cleaning, didn't tell me and don't offer a complete refund or at least a free cleaning?!?!

That means my Airbnb guests just by some stroke of MIRACLE didn't notice.but if they had, it would have cost me money in refunds and probably a bad review. Too risky. Then, the following cleaning, the cleaner was scheduled to do laundry. She folded and put away WET towels into my linen closet. I came home to molding, damp towels with brown stains on them.

I had to rewash and dry everything in the closet. That combined with the missed cleaning -- and all they could do to make it up to me was a $10 off offer for both things combined. I'd just make sure you are home and can supervise if you get this service -- and I'd make sure you don't need a totally reliable service either. They use different cleaners every time so the consistency is wildly different. BE WARNED.

I've been using Weekend Maids for over two years. I just canceled my service. I was onto my third crew. First crew was mostly OK, and at the time I lived in a townhouse. Second crew was OK until they used steel wool to clean a brand new stainless cooktop, which was already clean, and scratched the crap out of it. After a couple of weeks they comped me a cleaning and this covered the repair cost.

Onto the third crew, the quality of cleaning plummeted. They would rush through barely an hour of cleaning when I paid for 90 minutes. The house was poorly cleaned. They seemed more intent to move stuff around to make it look like they had cleaned than to actual clean. Three times in a row the corners of my walls *all over* were scuffed up with black and red marks.

Paint was even pulled off. I can only presume the black is from the vacuum cleaner cord and the red from the totes they use. They would also show up wildly late - 1.5 hours after their two hour arrival window. Oven: never cleaned. Baseboards: never cleaned. Cobwebs: never cleaned.

I was quoted $235 for 4 hours. Let me say that other than having two cats, our 3 bedroom townhouse wasn't a disaster. The normal things needs special attention, like the windows, fridge and stove. On the day of the move out cleaning we were asked if we could give them 5. Already they were planning to stay longer. When I came to check on them after 4 hours only the stove, fridge, some windows and bathrooms were done.

Four hours and that's all they did? There was no furniture that needed moving. The whole place was empty. And again, not a disaster. We'd had cleaners come periodically. So they end up taking 5.5 hrs, which brought to the price up to a whopping $335. Up $100 from the original quote. And Andy the representative tried to convince me that I was getting a good rate?

I disagree. Four hours shouldn't take efficient cleaners to clean our house. Just to give you an idea of how efficient the cleaner was she asked me what time it was when I showed up at the end of her four hour time slot. Had she been working efficiently she would have known what effin time it was. Needless to say avoid this business. They send inefficient workers to up charge you in the end.

I would give them negative 10 stars if I could. I have been using them for a few months and EVERY single time I have a list of problems. I have switched cleaners (all with weekend maids) over three times. I had to have them come out to do a move out cleaning three times (all paid for) on a studio apartment and other than throw some bleach on the floor and throw away the packed boxes I had they did nothing!

There was a dead fly on the windowsill, finger prints on the light switch and mud prints on the floor still! I received no discount or any support from the account reps. They almost seemed annoyed with me for complaining. In the end, I had to take the day off and just do it myself. One time on a regular cleaning, the cleaner washed my clean towels and left them folded but very damp on top of my vintage hand painted hat box - ruining it.

They also unplugged my refrigerator and left it that way, by the time I returned home 12 hours later everything was melted. Given all my issues in the past, this most recent time the account rep request I meet the cleaners and go over everything I wanted. I work a lot, hence the cleaning service, so I had to take time off for this. When they arrived they seemed confused as to why I was there.

I walked around, giving the most detailed directions possible. The women just smiled and nodded, didn't say a single word for over 15 min. I gave them each $20 hoping to encourage superior service and then I left to make a meeting. When they were done, they called, and this is when I determined how little English they spoke, not that I care, but then why was I supposed to give them detailed instructions when they couldn't understand me.

I thanked them in my broken Spanish and they hung up. When I returned home, I found that everything I asked to be done, was done wrong. They took my decorative towels down, put them in a pile of dirty ones, and picked dirty ones up and hung them in their place. They put my fitted sheet over the top one and put couch pillows on my bed. They also moved furniture and left it and cleaned dishes but left them to dry in the sink.

My floor had white spots on it and they completely rearranged my bathroom and cleaning closet. I also found my tv remotes in the closet. None of which seems like common sense anyway. I have since canceled my service and hope to have better luck else where. I would avoid weekend maids at all costs.

OK, I can't wait to set the record straight here about Weekend Maids. We have been regulars with them for about 2 years now and we think they're fantastic. What's up with the haters on this one? I completely don't understand what's going on. We found them about 2 years ago after trying maid service after maid service. I think I found them on Google.

From the very start, they were super friendly and accomodating. We needed them quickly, like a last minute thing, and they managed to arrange it. First time we tried them, we were pleasantly surprised to find our bathrooms spotless and our kitchen sparkling clean. In addition to the cleaning we requested they went above and beyond. For $99.00 bucks. Are you serious?

My wife and I were floored. So we tried them again two weeks later and then two weeks after that, and then finally we made it a regular thing. It's been two years. We have NEVER had a problem with them--nothing but the good stuff. Always on time, always professional on the phone. They give reminder emails to remind us that we have an appointment with them.

One thing I love about them is they always pick up the phone--no answering machines. And like I said, super professional and thorough. They have also been flexible with us about switching dates and other picky things we've thrown at them. Hey, when I read some of the negative reviews, I was really dumbfounded. What the--? I have two years of experience working with this company and I'll say it again, we LOVE them and the service they provide, and for how inexpensive they are given the quality of their work.

I seriously doubt some of the negative claims I'm reading. One reviewer said "the maid was supposed to call and confirm".that sounds bogus because that isn't their policy for the maids to call directly. The administrators always do the calling and confirming and they do a really good job of it. I have never been left in the dark. They are all over it with phone calls and email.

We just moved into a brand new house, and my wife just asked me yesterday when we're going to start up with Weekend Maids again. I told her this weekend. It's now the weekend, and it's time to call Weekend Maids!
