TakeAir Houston - Air Duct Cleaning

After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angie's List to call 5 companies for quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work.

We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldn't get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again.

They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution. We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. Highly recommend!

I used this service to clean out and repair my dryer duct. Francisco and his crew were professional. He explained everything to me as he went along. He was very courteous and they did an amazing job. My dryer now dries my clothes much faster and I’m completely satisfied. I will use them for future services.

They did a great job! The carpets were badly pet-stained & they came out looking like new! Dryer vent cleaning has reduced my drying time from 3 cycles to 1! They found quite a bit of build-up in my HVAC which was a shock, especially with the added cost to do a complete system cleaning. But they showed me pictures of the problems & decided it needed to be done. I'm very pleased with their service & would definitely use them again.

Francisco and his helper came out and did an "evaluation" to clean my ducts and dryer vent. After telling my HVAC system was less than a month old and having an air quality test done, he told me that I had mildew and mold in my ducts and needed to be sanitized for an extra $399. I told him that my house was already tested for mold and he said if I wanted to have his funding tested it would cost an additional $250 This is a GIMMICK & SCAM https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/should-you-have-air-ducts-your-home-cleaned#nadca This company was not listed in NADCA and to take the word of an person looking at a vent and a Scientific proven test. Wow They may have good reviews but watch out.

So nice, did a great job cleaning out my dryer duct. Charged me literally 1/3 of what another company charged me a few years ago. I will absolutely use Take Air again.

Expensive but they do a good job and get you before and after pictures. Francisco is very engaging.

This company is fantastic. For the first time in at least two years, I can breathe in my house. After I went to doctor after doctor and had test after test, getting sicker all the time, my husband found Take Air who are experts on indoor air pollution. They came and tackled this house, spraying first then the next day scouring every inch of every duct, then disinfecting it all.

It took a few days to fully dry out, given Houston's humidity, but, finally.clean wholesome air, sound sleep, energy returned and mental clarity. Don't hesitate to use them, they are worth every cent. Avi is terrific if you can get him, so is Francisco, but the whole team is top notch. Take Air is aptly named. Ah, air! At last.

I am so glad I called. The employees for this company are hard working and detailed. Francisco showed me pictures of how dirty my air ducts were and he told me it would be two appt project to be effective. I also had mold starting in some spots. I appreciated the honesty instead of just offering a quick fix. After the 2nd appt, Don and Chris left my house fresh smelling. I will definitely use them again. Thanks so much.

Francisco and his crew showed up to look at our ac ducts. They found we had a bad mold problem. They showed me and my wife the issues and gave us good deal on cleaning our ac ducts and dryer vent. They did an excellent job on it all! They were clean, fast and friendly! I would definitely recommend them! We had no idea we had mold, have your system checked!

This was our second time using Take Air. After moving houses we found our new home was causing us difficulties breathing. Take Air cleaned all the vents and the whole system. The house smells fresh and new. So much better than before. The crew was great and left everything spotless. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

I still have NOT encountered a more suitable carpet cleaning company than Take Air. They aren't your typical mom and pop carpet cleaners. They have invested into the best solutions to make your carpet maintain a healthy appearance. Thank God for natural based carpet cleaning products and the companies that stand behind them operating them accordingly. 5 stars.

After trying different air companies. They were the only company that found the mold problem in my home. Great service and reasonable prices.

Never hired an actual carpet cleaning company until this one. The difference is like night and day, I'll tell you. They managed to abolish horrendous stains that have been plaguing my carpet for YEARS. Yes, years! They removed those stains like it was another walk in the park. I will gladly hire them in the future!

They came out and cleaned and sealed my tile and grout. The grout was super dirty so they worked really hard to clean it. It was also very affordable. I will for sure use them again in the future.

I wish I could give Take Air a higher rating for their professionalism and their Sunday availability. I originally hired the company to clean the duct behind my clothes dryer. They opened up the AC system and found it very dirty. They gave me a spiel on how they could clean and sanitize the HVAC ducts. While I did indeed need to have them cleaned, I was told it would take three or four hours for the treatment and that I could leave during the process. Did they tell me it would take that long so that they could justify the $1,615 charge?

When Judah came for the actual cleaning, he said it would take between 30 minutes and one hour. There were shoe track marks left on my floor by the AC. I felt taken in being charged that much for a brief service. They offer a three-year warranty whick includes inspection for mold and mildew. But will they try to sell me another $1,600 service then when they come back? To be continued.

My dryer was heating but not drying so I called a couple places for a dryer vent cleaning. This place was $130, $30 more than others, but was able to come out the fastest and I was under the impression it included a dryer cleaning (it didnt) so I went with them. They quoted to arrive at 2-4pm and i stressed earlier would be better but they arrived past 6.

They cleaned the vent but my dryer still wasn't working. Turns out I needed the dryer cleaned out. He said it would be $150 to clean the dryer. That's worth more than my dryer so, nope. I called some other place to quote on cleaning the dryer and they quoted $120 to clean the vent and the dryer. ): I know for sure the receptionist said it included more than just a vent cleaning. But when the technician arrived he said it only included the vent cleaning. So idk, I was too tired to argue. lol

Take Air just finished doing air duct and mold removal at my house. The technicians Francisko and Abby ( I believe I murdered his name) were on time and very professional they explained everything they did provided pictures of before and after. They took the time to ensure we understood everything that came with the warranty and what they would be doing yearly to ensure we never have the problem again. I will definitely be using them again for tile and grout cleaning as well.

I found Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning Specialists, LLC on line. I called them and they explained over the phone how they inspect and clean the air ducts and different components. I made the appointment. They came today, Sunday, Feb 7th. Avi took the time and explained in detail the what, how and why. I can tell he is a perfectionist. He did a super job and left everything very clean and neat.

I hope companies will have employees like him, dedicated, professional, patient and really looking to please the customers. This company has a great employee! Thanks Avi for all you did today!

I've been a customer for 3 years. They are very responsive and usually show up on the same day I call. I had to replace my AC unit and got a number of quotes. They matched the lowest bid and added a galvanized air duct as a freebie. The sanitizing process relieve my allergies in 24 hours. Couldn't ask for more.

Have used Take Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning Specialists Houston before to do our kitchen deep clean and were very impressed with their work so asked them to replace our duct for the kitchen extraction. They arrived on time, done the work quickly and efficiently which allowed our kitchen team to carry on with their prep work.I highly recommend them to my family and friends!!

This company is awesome! Francisco came to inspect our air duct, he took all pictures of the pipe up on the attic and explained everything clearly. Then he and another helper came on the other day as what we scheduled. They did everything very professionally, they also took pictures to show us before and after, it’s all CLEAN!! Excellent job!
