Steam Express

Steam Express damaged my carpet, I need to repair or replace it. Natasha Moreno of Steam Express said she will take care of the repair claim. I will see if this company will keep its word. I will update the review accordingly. Otherwise, I will do a credit card charge back, small claims court for the repair/replacement cost, and file a Consumer Protection complaint with the Office of the Attorney General. Customers are not without options to make things right.

Excellent work from beginning to end. My living room carpet was the first they cleaned. As a result of our satisfaction with the outcomes, I also had them clean my room carpets. I had no complaints about the quality of their service and timely response. The steam Express is highly recommended.

Completely my fault for not reading the Yelp reviews first. I read them after I had made my appointment and though "hey, they can't be THAT bad". Well I was wrong! The man who came in didn't even know what to charge he kept asking me what I was "quoted" over the phone. I told him I had a coupon and I knew more than 10 vents would be additional.

But he asked me again what I was quoted. I showed him the area I wanted steam cleaned. He didn't pay attention and missed the major area I needed clean. Then he asked me which cleaning service I wanted. Apparently there are 2; the one where they pour hot water on your floor for 0.70 a square foot and I guess the one that actually cleans is $1.40 a square foot.

I was quoted a time between 1pm and 5pm and got a call at 10:20am asking if they could come earlier. Which is fine. But now I know why they had so much time on their hands. I don't know how they are still in business - just poor service all around.

It's very clean, tidy, and meticulous! Our technician, Nick, was fantastic. Arrived on time, was extremely courteous, and answered any questions I had. He was precise and thorough with our carpet, which is large and needs a lot of effort to clean, and he actually went over every inch. Definitely utilize their service again to have our carpet cleaned once a year!

Thanks to The Steam Express services, I want to give a big shout-out. With a last-minute appointment, these guys were able to take care of everything regarding the clean-ups I required. We'll be using them in the future as well. Highly recommended service.

Steam Express is a service I will certainly use again in the future. Natasha was wonderful; she was courteous, efficient, and removed years of pet stains. The other carpet cleaners we've used weren't as good, were more costly, and weren't as nice. I have a husky that pooped all over our white carpeting, and I couldn't remove the stains with bleach.

In addition, the prior owner had cats who peed and stained the carpet in their bedroom. There are no stains on the carpets anymore! Thank you for getting my carpets white again!

My attic was infested with mold following a water leak, so I hired the Steam Express to get rid of it. They were kind and professional throughout the process. They go to great lengths to assure your satisfaction. They are the best when it comes to mold inspection and remediation.

All of the balconies were molded when I moved into a new apartment. I contacted several cleaners, but none of them could meet my expectations. Contact to The steam Express finally paid off; they arrived on schedule and completed the job flawlessly. Mold has been removed from the walls. All my friends and family appreciated the service, and I recommended your services to everyone.

Due to the fact that my kid suffers from allergies and dust is a major trigger for him, we clean our air ducts 2-3 times a year to help alleviate his symptoms. We chose Steam Express because they are the finest at cleaning air ducts. Our air duct system is now the cleanest it's ever been. Absolute best for duct cleaning!

Please avoid this company! I had agreed for my air ducts, returns and dryer vents to be cleaned. Given their discounts and allowing for some unknowns, I had calculated the price to top off at about $700. This was a little cheaper than others I had called previously so it seemed a good deal. BIG MISTAKE! The men came on Tuesday, they seemed unaware of the pricing I had agreed to when I set up the appointment so, I had to renegotiate again on the phone since I wasn't at home.

They found some mold in the vents and showed it to my wife who unwittingly agreed for them to treat it. She thought the price quoted for that treatment was $38.99 (he had said, thirty eight ninety nine). Joseph the technician meant $3899.00 for mold remediation. My bill came close to $5,000.00. These men took advantage of a situation and knew what they way doing.

It is unethical! The job was done so we were stuck with the price. Of course, Joseph the technician argued that he explained everything and that they did a good job, but as the English used to say, we were snookered. $5,000.00 is a pretty good take for an hour's work, isn't it? Please make sure not to be taken! Avoid these folks!

The man for the entire time had a booklet for charges- Dis not lift one finger otherwise I called for a 99.00 special. He was trying to charge 3000.00! I said no way! Ended up 1500.00 when I asked for the 99.00 special. Shysters. The man was screaming at me in my own house. I'm an elderly lady. I am still shaking and will most likely call an attorney.

I wanted to give this company zero stars, but that wasn't an option. They not only told me they would arrive at 11 am, but then they tried to argue to next day saying that they told me 10 am. I clearly remember them sweating the time frame from 11 am to 1 pm, so I set my schedule for the rest of the day accordingly. They ended up going to another job first, resulting in them arriving hours later than anticipated, throwing off the rest of my day.

After that, they even apparently used a $35 stain removal, which didn't even work. I wasn't there to see them apply it, so it could be that they didn't even apply it at all. I asked if they could waive the charge since the stain wasn't removed, and they refused, not even offering a discount as an apology for their timing mistake AND failure to remove the stain (which was the main reason we even hired them in the first place).

They also charged extra for a SMALL hallway and walk-in closet and never even mentioned that there would be extra fees upfront. Also, the technician did not even wear a mask in my home.

Great company clean my 3 system home from a bad mold condition for a very good price! The team were grate and helpful I really recommend this company! Ok

This company is terrible. don't practice COVID-19 guidelines. Not professional. didn't look clean or well dressed. I had a coupon for 77$ and when they got here. we was told we had a serious problem with mold. so he started to charge us for vents and 259$ to spray the mold for each job to clean our system which added up to 1200$. paid 439$ to do extra vents and he only sprayed in our main system for mold.

He never opened, clean and brushed our vents. Only vacuumed our main system. Husband confronted him and was told he only work through the main system. He didn't even stay half an hour. How do you give no stars?.We also noticed my husband ring from his job is also missing and we working with the police on this matter.

Unprofessional and rude employees. This appointment was set up thru our Property Management company. The lady I dealt with called twice saying they were on their way. The last phone call she told me they were ten minutes away only to show up an hour later. From the minute she walked in our door there was nothing but attitude from her and they ended up leaving without doing the work. After reading the reviews on this company it's probably a good thing they left. I would not recommend this company due to their unprofressionalism and lack of respect.

I just had them come for the ValuePak coupon to do the 10 vent cleaning. The man was very unprofessional (he walked in and left our front door wide open, wore his mask around his chin, etc). Luckily we had someone here that knew about vent cleaning and was able to tell us we were about to be scammed after listening to their tec. The tec insisted that he would clean all air vents "from the top / main unit" not from down below, which was not what I understood on the phone call when I made the appointment.

We also just checked the coupon, and it specifically states FROM THE OUTSIDE in. The only reason this matters is because you can't verify they are doing "what they say" they are doing. His reply when I asked him to clean from downstairs up is that we would have to "trust them" that is what their firm does. After looking at reviews on YELP is was clear I didn't want to trust them. I cancelled the service and went with another group from the coupon pack.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a sanitation crew in my house. They came in made a mess cleaned up half of it the put my vents on backwards and closed them they did do any thing the add said and charged me more than I was quoted.

I am very pleased with the job they did. Professional and quick. My home smells and feels better already.

Total rip-off. We called them based on a coupon. They looked at the vents and said that we have mold and it would be 2000. By the time he was done said that I had more work than he originally thought so he handed me a bill of 3600. Completely unprofessional and rude individuals.

A TOTAL AND COMPLETE RIP OFF. of I could contact value pak and ask them to stop accepting there false advertisement I would. what was mentioned as $77 in the coupon turned out to be unwanted $7k worth of service until I had to speak to the owner-again RUN RUN AND RUN There BBB rating is an F And each review reads the same and the company states people only write negative reviews. no one ever writes anything positive

They showed up on time, looked and acted professionally. They have recommendations based on client's need, not just to sell their services. I will recommend Steam Express anytime!

If I could give them a Zero Star rating I would. If you are looking for a place to clean your air ducts, go someplace else, save yourself the heart ache of failed work. They performed air duct cleaning at our home and we had black mold, here it is 4 years later and we have black mold again. We did everything we were supposed to including putting a UV light up in our air conditioning unit in the attic.

Today they were supposed to show up to change the lightbulb out, no call no show. Loser company. Update: They finally showed up three days later, gave me a quote to clean my air ducts and the price has tripled in 4 years. I think since hurricane Harvey hit Houston they have price gouged. I'll never use these people again

I had them come out to clean my dryer vents. When they moved my dryer they tore up the transition piece on my laminate floors and tried to cover it up and not say anything about it. 3 days later I went to put some items in my dryer and the piece of floor moved. I called them on Wednesday 6/28 and the lady on the phone told me to email the pictures.

I emailed them the pictures on Thursday 6/29 and still have not heard back from them on how they intend on fixing my floor. Update 7/9/17 The admin of the company called on 7/3 or 7/5 to confirm to have someone come out and fix our floor Sunday 7/9/17 between 12-4. On 7/9 The technician called around 3:30 to confirm his arrival at 4pm to "hook up my dryer vents".

I told him to stop and that was not the plan. I told him that his company was supposed to fix my floor that they carelessly destroyed. So i proceeded to call the answering service demanding that they put me through to a manager IMMEDIATELY since they were sending someone out for the wrong service. After several phone calls and several explicits later they said the guy would be there as planned to fix the floor. GUESS WHAT?! SHOCKER! They didn't show. Do yourselves a favor and read all the reviews about this company before you decide to use them and lose money and have you property damaged.

We received a flyer in the mail, call Stream Clean to do my Air Duct. Manager promised and quote all ducts area for $77.00 with coupon for each air unit. Work arrived in my house he add some extra charge for return which they never explained air return is not a part its service. be carefully with Stream Express deceiving practice. They do not honor what they advertise and use bait for you to call them. Ps. I told them I didn't want their service. I also check their complaint at BBB and some other area. Moses

Avoid this company like the plague. Although they may initially appear friendly they: 1. Leave the house a complete mess after doing airduct cleaning. Dust and debrie everywhere 2. They will attempt to upsell you on everything. They initially convinced us to install a UV light but they when they needed to come back again 3 days later to do the install we cancelled the order and could not get them to refund the charge short of calling our credit card company 3.

They have an overall vibe of being extremely shady, aggressive and unprofessional. There are plenty other companies to use so avoid them completely [Update] after posting this review they contacted me and the owner proceeded to yell at me over the phone for writing a negative review. Again demonstrating the level of unprofessionalism.
