They installed what they called a premium carpet throughout my house. It's less than 6 months old and the high traffic areas are matted and worn, much worse than the 10+ year old carpet I had removed. The padding is extremely poor and you can feel hard lumps of plastic in it when you go barefoot. I'm alone in this house, have no pets, and rarely have company over. There's no excuse for poor quality products like this.
