Perfect Shine

Can't vouch for the services because I didn't take them! When you call them, they don't let you speak and blatantly give you half information and ask if you want to book the cleaning or else they'll hang up. Extremely rude and disrespectful phone operator!

Pros- very responsive? to calls and texts. Came on time! Cons- long story short. THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE STOVE TOP, THE CHIMNEY. DID NOT MOP THE FLOOR! I Cleaned my stairs in front of them and they just gave some weird explanation like it will clean it self. I was NOT HAPPY! I don't leave reviews. I called the manager. I told her this happened and she said " I don't believe they wouldn't mop your floor". she said she would check and get back. No response after that? Very disappointed! I got my carpets deep cleaned and they were wet for 3 days!

Who ever wants to believe the managers story when she was not even here to witness what happened go ahead but this woman was trying to steal from me my necklace was in the bedroom on the dresser she placed it in her pocket and then it fell out her pocket in my whole way all the way almost in my kitchen why would she take my necklace out my bedroom in to the whole way? Don't make sense

Never never use this company. I made a bad choice in selecting them to do a deep cleaning of carpets and general cleaning after our tenants moved out. The carpets had streaks of dirt all over especially at the stairs. Response was that dirt had gone in too deep to clean out. A separate company that came to do the upholstery cleaning thought the carpets were not yet cleansed.

Even some visitors thought so too. As for the general cleaning, the quality was very low. Window sills were cleaned but where the windows came down to the sills were not. Microwave and ovens were haphazardly wiped. If there's a NO Star I would have chosen it. Finally, Joanna has a very bad habit of telling you to compare prices even after you have given her the job.

Very defensive. I mean, how hard could these cleaning jobs be? That's what I gave them the job that cost me just below $1000! NEVER NEVER EVER USE THEM. FAR FROM PERFECT. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AVERAGE. GRADE D-!

The crew was 30-minutes late. I had hired for the whole apartment to be cleaned. The crew thought it was only for my bathroom. They called to explain and the owner told them that they had to do the following job.

Unreliable I used this service for a few months. We had an agreed upon arrival window of one hour. They were never on time. Sometimes, the never showed up at all. I was always charged before the service even started. In fairness the work was great work, which is why i had the service for multiple months. In the end, the fact i had to wait around or rush out of the house early became too much of a head ache.

Both ladies came on time to clean my 1 bedroom place and made sure to use eco-friend products.

Still using this company every 2 weeks. They truly go above and beyond. All of the women who have come to clean my house are trustworthy, kind, gracious, and do an AMAZING job. I'm a tough critic and I have yet to be disappointed. They empty my garbage, start my dishwasher, change the sheets on the beds and organize things on the counter. I am thrilled by their service. Thank you again! Everyone from this company who had cleaned my home has been professional and respectful. They do a wonderful job cleaning.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Worse customer service and worse cleaning service ever. Do not recommend this company.

Very poor at adhering to timelines. We have to play wack a mole with when they will arrive

I recently bought my first house and needed to do a move out and move in cleaning. My realtor had used them in the past and recommended. Joanna answered the phone and was able to coordinate both houses around my moving schedule and send out a carpet cleaner too! I thought this would be a one time thing, but they offered to come back once every four weeks (didn't push me for more often) and I'm glad I did. Today marks four weeks in the new house and nice and shiny again! Not sure why google reviews are so bad, but the yelp is accurate!

I love these guys! We moved here two years ago and after a string of terrible housecleaners I stumbled upon Perfect Shine and I haven't looked back. I have been sent 2 different teams and they are both wonderful and so pleasant to talk to. Today Mary and Nicoletta (sp?) came and did a deep clean for our move out in 2 days. Such a wonderful team.

They helped move the mattresses from room to room so they could clean and even helped with a bulky bed frame. Both teams have been prompt and courteous and the gentleman who answers the phone is very polite and calls back promptly when I leave a message. I highly recommend Perfect Shine.

I've used multiple house cleaning companies through the years and always been disappointed with the work so I decided to save money and clean everything myself. It became too much for me to stay on top of so I decided to give this place a try. Marc was great working with me to set up times for his team to come clean my home, even with my limited availability.

They were very flexible, even coming in on a Sunday once! Communication using text primarily is great and works for me, I'm super busy and a big texter. Everytime they clean my home, I am very happy with the work. If you want special attention to anything for example doing a deep clean in a certain area or to do extra shining on the kitchen appliances, you just need to let the team know when they are there.

Very friendly team and respectful of my son and dogs running around while they are cleaning. Probably easier for them if you give them space to clean with no one home, which I do try to do sometimes and they are very efficient! Thank you Marc and team for always taking care of us!

After one of the owners died, the business has gone downhill. Zero personal attention, texting as a main form of communication, and management does not investigate concerns of client. High-turnover of their employees, numerous scheduling mishaps and no shows, inconsistent quality of work were examples of the ongoing mismanagement of the business. After years of service, management decides my house requires more time to clean, thereby increasing my price by a 1/3.

After trying to voice my concerns, the owner hangs up on me, telling me they will not service my house. I had given them loyalty, but alas they gave me none. Be wary future clients, I do not recommend Perfect Shine Housekeeping. Ownership here is indifferent, unpredictable and the employees are untrained. Poor customer service by owner, Mark McDonald, will ensure your needs will NOT be handled. Read the other poor reviews- there is a common complaints in all of them. The HOUSEKEEPING BUSINESS is VERY COMPETITIVE. They cannot compete. I have replaced them.

They skipped a cleaning and when I called to ask why they aren't here they asked for more money. First they don't show up and then they say pay us more. Ridiculous.

I'm just extremely frustrated. I used Perfect on Groupon last November and was very impressed with their service right from the first contact to make the appt with Mike. This time the appt was made to clean my sob's Home before move in, but it has been delayed and I needed to cancel; such a simple task. Whoever now is doing the intake is far from customer focused.

I've had to call 3 times over the last week where I have been told someone would call me back to confirm. As you can tell, I'm still awaiting that call to confirm a cancelation! I can only assume the appt hasn't been cancelled and I can imagine people are going to show up to clean and expect to be paid because I supposedly didn't cancel! Someone please call me back!

When I been promised for a re-cleaning, I told them I don't wanna see that cleaning team again since they're so lazy. And they sent the same team to my house at 11:10am, which is not the time we agreed on: 2pm. After I showed them which areas they didn't do a good job of, they just told me that they will clean Thorpe areas. And they call that a "re-cleaning." So I told them you don't have to do the re-cleaning no more.

Since theirs time are much more valuable than mine. Sometimes I got confused from this team for who's the cleaner and who's the customer. There was one time they even used my vacuum cleaner instead of theirs, and of course, they didn't bother to tell me or take out the trash in that cleaner. I hope they can be replaced by AI someday.

I don't know why so many people give this company good reviews, but I do have a bad experience. Over the phone, they told me that they will send two people for 75 dollars per hour. The apartment only has two bedrooms and a very tinny kitchen. They start cleaning from 8:30 and left at 11:30. (I was not there, but my tenant mate them when they left).

My tenant even told me that there is only one person work there. They charge me 450 dollars for cleaning the kitchen and bathroom and 100 for three glass window for this three-hour house clean with only one person. After I question them their price, they never pick up my phone since I called them 3 times, and email them 2 times.

They arrived at the incorrect time, took 5 hours to clean what they estimated at a 2 hour job, and did not provide a receipt afterwards to itemize the charge. Avoid if possible.

The integrity and honestly of this company is highly questionable. I found them on yelp, but Im writing up a review for my experience. I start using their cleaning service nearly a year ago. Inconsistency of scheduling from the disorganized management was one of the problem. Maids either show up late or they call and said they want to come early. That didn't bother me the most.

As long as they charge a fair rate and get the job done. I don't have major issue with them until another serious problem arise recently. My bathroom faucet and bathroom sliding door handles have severe discoloration. (See pictures ). And I found that out after the latest cleaning service done by a maid named Erica, she has been the one cleaning my house all year long.

I believe this maid have used erosive cleanser which discolored the surface of faucet. I called perfect shine management and complained. At first the two Brother owners - Marc and Eric said the maid is gone to Mexico. Then they said the maid told them my faucet has always been like that way. And they have kept picture as proof. But yet, either them or the maid is unable to locate the pictures!? ( how hilarious!).

They have to wait til the maid comes back from Mexico and then go from there. It's been 3 weeks now and no calls from perfect shine and no follow up about the pictures they said they have as proof. It's very obviously they're not going to take any responsibilities and address the complaint. Yelpers : So my experience tells me that when you bring up complains about their service ( see another review from Shao-Wen about money stolen and Candy S about damaged stove) they don't want to deal with you. It's all excuses and made up of stories by Perfect Shine to make you go away and deny all responsibilities of their mistake.

My suggestion is - you take pictures of your appliances and vanities before they came to your house so you can keep a record of it. This way you don't run into dispute with them and their tricks cannot fly.

****The owner's response to this review contradicts their behavior. First they denied their wrong doing, then they avoided your call ( they even blocked me when I tried calling them. I figured dialing from my cell phone was just keep ringing. And then I tried using my office phone, then they picked up ). It's a very unprofessional business practice.

They never offered any investigation from the beginning. Again, They ( the maid and the owner) said they didn't do anything to my stove and never offer investigation.***** ORIGINAL review : Be aware of the dishonesty of the maids from this company. They would lie when they ruined your appliances and deny their wrong doing. The worst from this is that the owners would back them up and made up tons of B.S. and deny their responsibilities.

They recently did a deep cleaning for my place. As a soon as they left, I found my stove surface been damaged. See picture attached. I called the owners and complained immediately. The owners said they need to ask the maids what happened. And when owners called me back and they said " no, Erica said your stove was like that when she came to your house ".

I have my stove for 10 years and I use it everyday, how would I not know what my stove looks like every single day? And of course, they denied everything and no apology whatsoever. Beware this maid called Erica and the owners of Mark and Eric. Erica lied and two owners would not treat customers fairly and rather back up this dishonest maid that they hired. This business practice is dishonest and unethical.

This had to be the worst cleaning service I have used. Broke things, left early with floors still dirty, scratched marble, did not show up for cleaning within 2 hr. scheduled cleaning, then got upset that I wouldnt let them clean 3 hours late!

Let me sum up this cleaning service by saying, they cleaned the shower glass door so well that I tried to walk in the shower and bumped my knee against the spotless glass! I share a six bedroom/three bathroom house with some dirty roommates and I really appreciate the way the Perfect Shine workers transform our hacker house back to new every other week!

Also I requested that they use less abrasive chemicals to clean and they assured me they only use 100% organic products, you could probably lick your counter after they finish cleaning it! Thank you ladies for being so professional and trustworthy, I would highly recommend everyone get their house or apartment cleaned at least once so you can experience the difference!

My emailing exchange with Eric was very informative - I've never hired house cleaners so I had a few questions! I had to reschedule a few times and there was never any issue. Mary and Maria showed up on time and were very nice. They did a wonderful job! My apartment looked amazing. I will go back to PSH (and ask for Mary and Maria) any time I need cleaning.

The cleaning crew usually does a decent job. My main frustration is the administrative staff. Guaranteed mistakes if you make any changes from your normal schedule. The worst part is same mistakes repeat over and over again. That reflects bad customer service and poor administrative process.

I was a bit hesitant and uncomfortable to use one. I looked to Yelp for recommendations & Perfect Shine Housekeeping. I am so glad I did! Eric and Monica were organized, professional, efficient, and understanding of my situation. I knew my cleaning needs might be a "worst case scenario" due to quite a bit of neglect on my part. The two of them tackled the problem areas and my expectations were exceeded. Not only that, they were kind and empathetic, plus I got some great down-to earth advice as to how to maintain the hard work they did.

I hired the Perfect Shine Housekeeping to clean my small, former office and they always did a great job! More recently I decided to have them do a monthly cleaning at my apartment. I am so happy with Nikky hard work! She really gets the place feeling fresh and clean! She never misses a detail and I am never disappointed! She even puts the clean dishes away (carefully and correctly) and makes the bed. I look forward to "cleaning day" every month! The pricing is fair and they do the job right! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a chemical free/green clean!
