Scott is always professional to work with when I drop off my rugs for steam-cleaning & takes time to answer all my questions! In addition, when scheduling over the phone, the receptionist is helpful & caring- knowing my deadlines for completion for rug cleaning is extremely important to us! I am a tenant and our property management company used Penobscot Cleaning. The 4 workers I met were absolutely great, they were early but waited til the time they stayed before coming to the door. Friendly great staff, they cleaned up after themselves like they were never there! Honestly I've lived here and never seen the basement look this good! GREAT JOB GUYS!

I hired Penobscot Cleaning Services for typical house cleaning services of my mother's modest ranch-style home in Deer Isle, Maine. It is hard to find a house cleaner in this area and so I accepted the quoted rate even though it was far far above what I normally pay for housecleaning (honestly it was astronomical and I shouldn't have proceeded but I was desperate).

I thought that at least I would be thrilled with the work but I was wrong. At the request of PCS I submitted a "priority list" of items to be cleaned, understanding that the technician might not get to all items. Well, the cleaner skipped much of what was at the top of that list and we came back to a home where straightforward tasks such as dusting nightstands and other horizontal services were not complete.

The hood of the stove was left greasy, the kitchen sink wasn't cleaned and the top of the shower was untouched. When I emailed PCS to follow up, I was given no recourse, even though the company sent a letter (see attached) to me following the visit saying customers should reach out if they are not "totally thrilled". Our experience with PCS was bitterly disappointing. We will not be using them again and if I could give them no stars, I would.

We have used Penobscot Cleaning several times for rug cleaning and have been happy every time. Front office staff are exceptionally pleasant.

We at Stillwater Dental Associates, Bangor, have used Penobscot Cleaning Services for many years because we are so pleased with both the quality of their work as well as for what nice people they are to do business with. They also came to our rescue one year when our basement flooded. They took care of the water, dried out our carpets, and did all the renovations to the walls.

They also clean my residential carpets and even got a huge black ink stain out of my white cotton dining room chair seat. I highly recommend them for both home and business cleaning and remediation services. A++ in our opinion.
