Our business has been a family affair at Oriental Rug Cleaning Co. for more than 100 years. H. Mirza Amirkhan Sr., who founded the business over a century ago, was an Armenian born in Turkey in 1889. Seeking freedom and opportunity, he booked immigrated to the United States in 1909. He paid for his passage by working in Cincinnati, Ohio for his cousin's rug cleaning and repair business.
Not all area rugs are the same. They have different characteristics that dictate how they are cleaned-one size does not fit all! At Oriental Rug Cleaning Co., each rug is handled individually and we adapt our unique cleaning processes to each rug. Textiles, tapestries, and wall hangings, require careful hand-cleaning and care to extend their life and structural integrity.
Over time, rugs ranging from fine, hand-made Orientals to machine-made synthetics, may require repair or restoration. Members of our highly experienced staff are trained in all phases of rug repair and restoration, including fringe, blocking to correct irregular shape, and much more. Before we make any repairs, we advise customers on the level and cost of necessary repairs to ensure that the cost is within budget and is commensurate with the value of the rug.Restoration - Restoration involves returning the rug as close as possible to its original condition.
Oriental Rug Cleaning Co. sees the best and worst of area rug padding. We offer several excellent padding solutions to meet the needs of various rugs and floor surfaces. Oriental will furnish quality pads for new rugs, wash existing pads and replace worn pads under all your area rugs. The style element with id",j , "has been split into multiple style tags due to @import statements and the id attribute has been removed.

I have had three large area rugs cleaned by Oriental Rug over the last few years and have been extremely pleased each time. Two are wool handmade hand carved fringed rugs and the third is a synthetic. They did a great job on all. The staff is friendly, professional and very accommodating. They offer pick up and delivery for a modest $25 and that crew is awesome. I highly recommend Oriental Rug for rug cleaning and will definitely use them again.

I had 7 rugs and pads picked up cleaned and stored while I was remodeling my home. As always Oriental Rug Cleaning lived up to their reputation of quality work, excellent customer service, exceptional employees who are knowledgeable, polite, careful in my home and always willing to go the extra mile with additional needs. Would never consider using any other company!

I have a hand made area rug I purchased years ago in Turkey. Normally I drag it outside, hand clean it myself, then prop it up to dry in the sun. As I just went through a massive renovation it was very dusty and had some debris on it. I found Oriental Rugs on the internet, read their reviews and decided to give them a try. I'm very happy with the outcome. My rug looks new. I also had them Cut a custom mat to go under it as it's an odd size. I will use them again instead of me doing the hard work, so worth it!

We bought an 8x10 hand made rug at an estate sale, without having much in the way of details about it's history. Plus it was filthy dusty. Oriental Rug was great to work with. They were super responsive and beat their estimated time frame for cleaning by a week. In addition to the superb washing, they were very informative about the likely history of the rug, where it was made, etc. I highly recommend them for rug cleaning.

I wish all my interactions and customer experiences compared to this one. I had some antique Iraqi Kilims that I just loved. We adopted a new dog who also loved these kilims, but I didn't realize for quite some time because the rugs were in a part of the house I don't visit daily, and the cold winter masked a lot of the odor. When I discover how badly they were stained, I left them outside for over a year(!) because of the dyes and handwoven nature of the rugs, I truly thought they were garbage. Oriental Rug not only cleaned and deodorized them, it was below the budgeted cost and with minimal color loss or leakage, I was seriously blown away. Nicest folks.

This is a first rate oriental rug cleaning business. One of the outstanding features is they are honest and polite too. I had a lovely wool rug from Neiman:s that I just adored for the color, pattern and richness, but it was glued on and wouldn't have with stood the rigorlus cleaning. They kindly explained it, and being honest, it would have fallen apart.
I just had to toss it.(. Or maybe I'll use it upside down for veg garden paths. It was wise to be honest but they could have said it might fall apart they didn't know ( dishonest ) and made me sign something. I doubt I would have chanced it but they just said they wouldn't clean knowing that would happen. Kudos to them! They repaired by edges and did extra soaks. and they are the best I'm sure.over 100 years of experience.
The building was a history lesson, an amazing one. Integrity and friendliness matters. Also, just as an aside, they were friendly to my little Havanese, and 2.5 months later they asked where she was. Good memories. And the employees also helped me load well and strap down on my trailer with cheerfulness and respect and kindness. No frowns or muttering.so appreciated. The reason I think it could be five stars is it seems slightly expensive for me. But I'll come again next time I need, just try to keep them vacuumed a lot!.

I had Oriental Rug Cleaning Co. clean several of my Persian and Chinese rugs following the adoption of a new pet who decided to take out her anxiety on my rugs! These were family heirlooms and very sentimental, as well as valuable. They did a phenomenal job.and even repaired one that had a small seam tear. Completely unnoticeable now. Highly recommend!

My cat had a large accident when she was sick all over my colorful rug I purchased years ago when I lived overseas. I thought for sure it was not able to be saved, but I called Oriental Rug Cleaning and they were so kind and immediate. They even have services for delivery in case you can't lift the rug. They were so professional and helpful. I have already referred others as I think they are wonderful and also priced very reasonably. Definitely recommend them!
