Brought in a pair of pants and a dress for alterations and they were ready in just over a week and beautifully done!

Spent over $150 in cleaning in one trip this past Monday. Get home and was given someone else's pants, not even same color brand size etc, my $150+ pants nowhere to be found. Call and the poor girl working is setup to fail because both managers are out of town and can't let her access any necessary information. Not her fault at all and I owe her an apology to be completely honest, this is on management and their processes alone. Am told nothing can be done until managers are back in town Monday, I need my pants by this Saturday. Unacceptable and as of now they have essentially stolen both my pants and whatever guy's pants they gave me.

Will update to 3 stars for transparency if given my pants and full refund as I now have to go purchase an entire other pair for my event this weekend and iron them myself. so now I'm out the money for both my original pair and this replacement pair. I should not have to be concerned with receiving my own belongings back as I left them. I highly suggest a better system be put in place to sort clothing by owner to prevent this situation happening again in the future.

Come here on a regular basis for alterations and dry cleaning - highly recommend!

We were traveling to a wedding and needed some items pressed, last minute. They took 5 items midday on Tuesday and had them ready for us by 10:30 the next morning. We appreciated their quick service.

We've used them several times for our dry cleaning and it's always a quick turnaround. When. I went to pick up today, I forgot my wallet and had to go home and come back. When I got back it was 6:10 and I hadn't realized they closed at 6. The lady working was kind enough to let me in and pick up my items anyway. This new mom is grateful, my time for errands is rare and I really needed to get my clothes today.

My first ever negative review. What a shame. I loved using this business for my dry cleaning, alterations, and rug cleaning and the people that work here are so sweet. Interacting with the owner is another story. I brought a light colored area rug in to be cleaned that had minor surface stains from normal use, which were easy to see because it was a light cream color.

I went to pick up that rug along with a few others rugs I dropped off at the same time and the entire color of the rug changed and was now a reddish orange color and was matted and covered in stains. I have no idea what happened but when I talked to the owner he told me that I BROUGHT IT IN THAT WAY, which is an interesting tactic to take. He refused to acknowledge any fault, refused to help in any way, but did tell me he wouldn't charge me for cleaning the rug lol.

Never had an issue before this so maybe if you never have an issue you'll enjoy this business but warning if you do, the owner will absolutely not be helpful or try to remedy the situation. It's not worth the risk, in my opinion.

The Best cleaners ever in Nashville. I have visited many cleaning places to remove this spot from my jumpsuit but it was unsuccessful. Nicholson Cleaners is the best in this field and they do know how to help their customers and super nice employees. I would recommend this place to everyone you won't regret coming here. I brought in 5 sundresses and one jumper. Over $100! And no coupons anywhere on the internet that I could find. I didn't realize that it would be that much until I got my claim ticket and saw the price! What is so special about them that they charge that much? Am I missing something here? I only went because they're conveniently located near to my house but I would gladly go to another place if I knew they would be more reasonably priced.

The person at the counter was nice though. Not $100 worth of nice, but nice. I guess this is the place to go if you have something big, important and high-end and not these little sundresses that I wore on vacation a million years ago. I'll take my vintage dresses here for sure but I won't bring in my day-to-day stuff again.

$6.99 to get a t-shirt dry cleaned. Yikes folks. This thing could come back dusted in gold and I'd still never go back. Laughable pricing.

Cannot thank Nicholson enough for their master alterations man! He's done two dresses for me now and the second was a designer gown I was weary of having anyone touch, but it's absolutely perfect. 5/5 stars! THANK YOU! Also done SOO fast. Service: Alterations

I have been going to Nicholson's since I moved here in 2015. They are prompt, courteous, friendly and most of all get the job done right! In addition to taking my laundry there they have also alter suits for me as well. Once again, top end friendly service. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a cleaners to look no further then Nicholson's!

The staff at Nicholson's are very nice and will work to meet whatever your need is. I was displaced from my house during the recent tornado in Nashville and Nicholson's was great with cleaning all my suits and providing support in any way possible!

TERRIBLE! I have taken clothes here in the past, and was disappointed when they lost a scarf belonging to one dress and ruined the elastic completely in another. I should have known not to bring my clothes back, but because the location is convenient and the people seem nice I returned. Though they didn't lose anything this time, I am extremely disappointed.

All of my clothes came back shrunken. My favorite dress is now a full size smaller--the arm holes dig into my shoulders and the hem falls far higher than it did before. There were snaps to keep bra straps in place which are now broken. The entire job cost close to $100, which seems incredibly overpriced, especially since they ruined my clothes. I think they must just wash the clothes in regular washing machines. Will not be returning.

Watch out for the price of your dry cleaning increasing significantly between the time of drop off and pickup. My total for 7 shirts to be pressed was $24 at drop off, and when I picked it up it was $42. They made no attempt to correct it, but told me that they hand pressed them instead. They did not tell me that at the beginning. I can find a much more reasonably priced dry cleaner anywhere else.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CLOTHING GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - I wish I had listened to the bad reviews. I took my wedding dress here to have it cleaned and regret trusting them with something so special. Initially I felt good about going to Nicholson cleaners because I found out they clean wedding dresses in house rather than shopping them off somewhere to be mass cleaned.

I picked up my dress and got home to switch it over to my garment bag and I noticed that the hem was still dirty. A tag was on the dress that said "some spots still may be left and any further treatment could cause damage to the fabric". For paying over $200 to get the dress cleaned, this seemed like a cheap cop out of an excuse. Not to mention the other dirt on the hem seemed to have come out fine. Sadly this wasn't even the worst part.

I noticed the shoulder pads and breast cups that were custom ordered and sewn into my dress were missing. It seemed odd that they would've cut them out and especially that they wouldn't have been returned to me as they are part of the dress and my property. I called them immediately and they said they needed me to bring back the dress so they could check it out.

Fast forward to today. I took the dress back and asked about the cups and shoulder pads and they had no idea where they were. She told me the best she could do would be to order new cups and pads and they would sew them - that's it. I asked her why they were taken out in the first place and she said sometimes they come off in the cleaning process.

They must have pressure washed my dress, because I'm not sure how these things that were COMPLETELY SEWN IN would just fall out, not to mention they lost them?! I can't believe I spent so much money for them to rip up my dress and not even clean it fully. So disappointing.

The lining color pictured is what color the jacket previously was, before cleaning. I provided two photos, the first was not of my actual jacket but was what I googled when I all of the sudden had to prove you damaged my jacket. The second photo I provided was of the actual jacket and shows the different color. I repeatedly offered to contact the designer to get product shots of the garment, and to come into the cleaners to view the tape of me dropping it off but have only repeatedly been told that I'm wrong, that the color didn't change.

I have nothing to gain, i would prefer my original jacket back. As mentioned in my previous review, the reason I would not recommend this cleaner is because of how I have been treated and communicated with in my effort to resolve the fact that they changed the color/shrank my jacket. They have yet to reply to the first notice from the Better Business Bureau complaint and I will continue to move forward with that as opposed to dealing with them directly.

Most expensive dry cleaners! Came in with a jumpsuit which had a sewn in belt with the same fabric and they charged extra. It was part of the romper - same material and everything - not a belt. Appeared as an additional item. $17 for a jumpsuit? $16 for a dress? You can find similar clothes on sale for a little over that. Might as well buy a new jumpsuit instead of getting it cleaned twice. Outlandish prices.

If there was an option to leave zero stars, I definitely would. I first tried this location out with several different items, one of which being a really nice white blouse of mine. I haven't been able to wear that white blouse since. There were three or four stains on the top when I got it back none of which would come out. Those stains were not on it prior.

First visit=COMPLETE FAIL I decided to give this cleaners one more try since it was conveniently located in my neighborhood. I took a couple different items there again.one of those being a white cotton/linen jumpsuit from Free People. That beautiful jumpsuit came back not white, but pastel pink. I don't know how they are cleaning customers items but clearly the process needs some major improvements.

The first time with the multiple stains and second with turning the white jumpsuit a completely different color. I 100% do not recommend this dry cleaner and unless you want your clothes ruined. DO NOT USE NICHOLSONS Reference photos with stains and the photo of the jumpsuit compared to an actual white shirt.

I have given this place way too many chances being that it is so close to where I live, however I have regretted it nearly every time. So I am finally done with this place. The clothes come back dirty, the tailoring is shoddy, and I have no trust in the work they do. Avoid this spot!

I wouldn't use this service. I just revised this from 2 stars to 1 star. They do poor work at best. The shirts were done ok. The laundry was a freak show. Not folded properly, sox and underwear thrown in, just bad. They determined it best to dry clean a $4 jockey t-Shirt for $6.90. and. they changed $3 per pound for the wash and fold mess. To have 2 shirts laundered and 15lbs of easy wash and fold cost $76.00 I'm probably expecting too much for Nashville services. In NYC there's a cleaner on every corner, shirts are $2.50 and wash and fold is $1.00 a pound

I was going to get pants altered At Nicholsons. They said it would take one week but if I wanted it quicker they would add a 40% charge! I decided to go to Inglewood Cleaners. They said it would take two days So they will get my business from now on

I love the location and it is always quick and easy to access for pick up. The service is always attentive and the detail they complete on clothes is great. The attendants are always friendly and the quick turnaround of the service. Good value and you get what you pay for which is always a plus. I have been going to this location for the past 3 years and I have never been disappointed.

I have been a customer of Nicholson's for 2+ years, but recently had an awful experience with my last drop-off. I gave them two of my nicest jackets to clean, originally purchased for a total of $800, and they destroyed both of them. Upon return, one of the jackets was a completely different color, and the other had dramatic discoloration in patches.

When I respectfully brought the issue to the owners attention, they decided to refund the cost of the cleaning ($32), but refused to offer any reimbursement towards the value of the jackets, and accused me of trying to scam them. Ken's communication over the phone was aggressive and incredibly inappropriate. Needless, to say, I won't be using their overpriced services in the future, and recommend the same for other East Nashvillians.

Most overpriced dry cleaners ever. $13 for a simple sundress. More than $6 for a tank top as well as a pair of pants. Ask for a quote before dropping nearly $80 on 6 articles of clothing. Will be taking my business somewhere that is reasonably priced.

UPDATED! After posting my review below, the owner called me at 6am from a blocked number and threatened to write negative things about me on yelp and POST MY PHONE NUMBER! I am appalled at how unprofessional a business owner can act. Instead of fixing the problem, he throws a temper tantrum? Not to mention when I was put on hold with them I heard his employee calling me names to another co-worker.

Apparently there is no such thing as good customer service any more. Terrible! I took my couch cushions here to be cleaned and not only did they not come back clean, they came back with an awful smell on them. When I called about this the girl who answered the phone was very rude and I could hear her talking about me to her co-worker when she put me on hold. They were overpriced, rude and didn't get the job done. Don't bother wasting your time and money here.

After reading my yelp review, the owner contacted me and offered to make it right. I appreciate the customer service, although I wish we had received this level of attention before the yelp review rather than after. We will be returning, as I have had many positive experiences with Nicholson Cleaners in the past. Willing to give it a second try.
