The taylor here has been my neighborhood go to for 5+ years. Alterations and also made me custom pants when I brought him the fabric. Always come through clean and precise.

This place is a hidden gem in Fidi. I have had them alter a few things for me over the past few weeks, including a fur coat, blazer, and pair of jeans, and the tailor who works here is beyond skilled. They are on time, courteous, and the quality of work is fantastic. I will continue to be a loyal customer and highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the area and in need of alteration/tailoring

I got my winter coat dry cleaned and they did an outstanding job. I was asked by several friends if I was wearing a new coat. The buttons were literally shining. Price was also very reasonable and the staff was very nice Highly recommend! :

Very disappointing service and I do not recommend. Dropped off a romper Tuesday AM and was told it would be delivered on Friday. Called the store on Saturday at 3:30 to check in but was told they are closed (inaccurate business hours). I am moving out of the city on Monday and was told they might be able to send it out then. Absolutely ridiculous that it takes almost a full week for a single article to be cleaned and delivered.

With no time to spare, family and I entered Mr Rafael dry cleaners at 88 Fulton. Fantastic service! We will be returning to get all our costumes and clothes fitted. They ( Ernie and Cosme) helped us with no notice! Were so helpful and saved the day! Thank you so so much!

Worst drycleaning experience i've ever had. Treats customers and their shirts with disdain and does not care what happens to the items. Ruined one of my shirts then refused to take responsibility. Get your shirts done anywhere else in New York to avoid rudeness and incompetence. *Not a deodorant stain; a stain caused by their process

Really love this cleaners I only trust them with my delecate clothing. They do a great job with my suits and shirts. They always pack my cloths professionally without leaving rinckles.

Very good dry cleaner. Reasonable prices. Very good service for pick up and drop off. They made a mistake with my order the other day, and I called to complain because it was significant. They called me back to let me know they fixed it and did not charge me for the order. Very fair. I appreciate that and will continue to recommend this business. Thank you, Jeremy 45 Wall

Nicole does a fabulous job. He is fast, very reasonable, and does an excellent job. He really takes care of his customers and he stands behind his work completely. I would recommend him to anyone!

Avoid this place for tailoring. I had brought several pants to get hemmed here in the Winter 2017 - I find out that they merely fold back the fabric and then place two stitches on either side of the seam. Invariably all of hems have broken 6 months later and when I bring back the pants, the tailor stares at me for 30 seconds and goes "what you want me to do with them - the stitching fell off because you wore them." Needless to say, Mr. Rafael and his tailor do not care about doing anything except take people's money for shoddy work.

This dry cleaners is great. Great business workers are nice. Gave them many clothes to alternate and they were finished with it very fast with everything just the way I asked. Never had a problem with the cashier nor the tailor. Fast service and Great prices. Will definitely come back here again. :

The best alteration I have had in the city. Cosme is one of the best tailors in the city--extremely meticulous and skilled! I'm known for being picky and seldom write reviews, so you could be assured that it's a legit positive review!

WOMEN DON'T GO HERE! They charge you higher prices if you're a woman! A wash & press on a plain button down for men is $2, for woman it's $7. The man at the counter tried to tell me it was because of the size of my shirt, but I've seen several smaller business men then myself. Anyone thoughts? Is this normal?!?!?

I had an issue with the measurements and management were very responsive and understanding and offered to fix it, however they charged me extra for it afterwards.

I come here weekly to get my laundry done. I drop it off in the AM (before 9am) and I get dropped off same day downstairs in my building. They take all of the work out of one of my least desired tasks.

Even though the website and Yelp are stating that this place is repairing shoes, they don't - at least not at this location. If you are looking for such a service, go elsewhere. I recommend the owners to keep their website and Yelp current.

These guys are great! I give them a quick call to pick up my laundry from my building or drop it off in the morning and it's always finished by end of day without a same day charge! The dry cleaning prices are very reasonable and wash and fold prices are pretty cheap/ comparable to others in the area.

Though Mr Rafael is quiet soul, he gets the job done well and quickly and charges a reasonable price. It's very much a case of don't judge a book by its cover. The store might not look like much but never had a issue with the service as side from the very odd time when have to wait a little longer for shirts to be done (probably due to back log). All in all, recommended if in the neighborhood.

This place honestly deserves no stars, I'm not sure how it's still an operating business. I dropped off a dress to have the straps adjusted. Simple spaghetti straps which takes no more than 15 minutes. They said they would have it done in two days at 11am. I said that was perfect bc I have a wedding and have to leave the city at 12. I just arrived and they couldn't find my dress for 15 minutes.

When they finally found it tucked away in a corner they realized they had yet to touch it since I dropped it off. The two employees started yelling at each other and told me to come back tomorrow. TOMORROW!? Are you out of your mind? Rather than apologizing I was yelled at by the two of them. Half an hour later in still waiting for them to fix TWO straps.

Not to mention they won't have time to steam my dress. I will never come here again and do not recommend it to anyone. Horrible way to run a business, don't spend your money here!

TRULY TOP NOTCH IN EVERY WHICH WAY! Rafael is classy, punctual, reasonable and most of all does the BEST job of any cleaners in NYC. I have worked with many dry cleaners and tailors and I will follow them anywhere in New York. They are total professionals and honest and lovely to deal with to boot. If ever they are concerned in any way about any article of clothing they will contact you and make sure they address it, better safe than sorry. THE BEST to deal with.

Small shop located on the mezzanine, so look up when you're looking for this place. Got my dress cleaned ($14) and also had a 25% off coupon in the mail. It came back great, no complaints.

I had a dress shirt laundered and pressed for $2! The workers here are really nice and professional. I have no complaints about the service.

I am delighted with the work they do in Rafael's cleaners, my suits, shirts and more, look so good and very neatly pressed with a cordial and friendly service the best I've seen, Since I been working in the city, Rafael Cleaner's had resolve some of my predicaments when i have meetings at work. Once i had a meeting at work and my shirt was really wrinkled and in minutes was well ironed, thank you so much to the employee Rafael, which resolved my problem in a trice. I'm very happy to have this cleaners around my work, I have no more than gratitude for you guys Thanks!

I would avoid this place if AT ALL possible. Recently had a very unpleasant experience where I brought in a pink silk blouse with a small ink stain. I asked them to remove the stain, and when I got the blouse back, the ink stain was not only STILL THERE, but there was a large WHITE SPOT where the cleaners had taken out the color in the fabric, rendering it completely damaged.

When I complained, the person on the phone rudely told me that the item was damaged to begin with because it had an ink stain already and that I wasn't entitled to be compensated (I had only worn it ONCE).

Take it easy, man. I'm sure if you asked when the shirts would be ready when you dropped them off, they would have told you Friday at 5pm. Being "only 6 shirts" would not make a dry cleaning order move more quickly than any others and this wait is pretty standard/ minimal - if you want any faster you just need to pay more (probably at another place). Sounds like you are just upset because your life has ended up at a point where REALLY need a certain shirt for something within 2 days and if you don't get it, you're going to wish cancer upon the person responsible and do so in a public forum (which this clerk has likely now seen). Just take it easy - wear a different shirt, and ask/ call ahead of time. Maybe find a new job.
