J & J House Cleaning

The first time Jerry sent out 2 lovely women to clean my house and they did a fantastic job. Absolutely fantastic and it took them 2 hours to complete cleaning my house. I was told I would be charged a first time fee and then afterwards they would provide a flat rate fee for each cleaning moving forward. Usually the flat rate fee is always less than the first time fee.

I was charged $185. The second cleaning Jerry, his wife and another woman came to clean and they did a great job and again only took 2 hours to clean my house. Jerry then said to me that the fee was $235 for that day and that it took him 3 hours for them to clean my house. I had to indicate to him that it did not take 3 hours, that it was only 2 hours.

He kept arguing with me until I asked him what time they arrived, which was 1pm and what the current time was that him and I had been talking and that was 3pm. I said I wouldn't be paying more than $185 since it took the same amount of time. He was not happy with me and then moving forward the cleanings became more sloppy. They didn't even clean one of my bathrooms and I took pictures to show him.

He only wanted to reimburse me $10 and that was only offered because I stated I wanted reimbursed for them not doing that part of the job. I even provided a $15 tip that day and have provided a generous tip for each weekly cleaning. I argued at least $20 and explained that the job was unacceptable as I have only requested and been requesting that they clean both my bathrooms, vacuum, mop and dust.

Not cleaning a bathroom is a pretty significant part not to do as I am not asking much to begin with. I also ran my vacuum over my downstairs carpet and the bin was completely empty before starting. I didn't even completely finish the whole carpet and already had 1/4 of the bin full of dirt and dog hair. My dogs were also out all day and hadn't been inside at all at that point.

When I brought this up to him he gave me a lot of attitude about it and told me to find another cleaning company. Not really sure how they run their business, but if your company is not doing it's job properly and you provide feedback in a professional manner, they should be understanding and accommodating about that. Not this company. They give you attitude and don't want to do their job because they are lazy and unprofessional.

Fantastic cleaning. They have a huge team of professional cleaners. They are thorough, fast, and on time. I will certainly be using them again! They do carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, windows etc.

First time cleaning was exactly what I wanted curtious, respectful, and efficient. Then as weeks went on, less cleaning and time spent but was the same price. Then on 3rd visit, two attendants were cleaning while one was outside smoking. Eventhough they had been there for only an hour, but I put it off as maybe she needed a break. Then the final straw. I wont go into detail but not only Hispanics can understand Spanish.

My mom was one of Jerry's original customers and is a lifer. I used them recently for both housecleaning and carpet cleaning and they not only worked miracles on my carpets/rugs, but my house has never been so clean or felt so good - and nobody can beat the price! Great job Jerry and a HUGE thank you to Sophie's team! You guys are the BEST! (They were even able to squeeze me in a pinch, too!)

Jerry and his staff have cleaned my house, my rugs and carpeting, my windows. His staff also organize cupboards, clean our refrig freezer units, clean oven, Microwave, Countertop appliances. Jerry has never refused a project. Nor have I ever been cancelled. If the Service is running late I always get a call. I have never ever observed nor heard about Jerry mistreating anyone nor speaking rudely. Jerry performs a valuable service for me, at 65 and with neuropathy I can no longer do some necessary cleaning projects. Been with Jerry 3 yrs.

Highly recommend J&J. I suspect some negative comments left by other customers are a result of the client not being clear, or having false expectations. In my opinion, an excellent service and reasonably priced.

J & J Housecleaning has been doing the cleaning in the majority of the rental properties I manage. Standard cleaning, carpet cleaning and windows are our usual needs. They have always done a great job for us. Jerry is friendly and straightforward about cost and availability & is great at communicating any additional work and/or costs that may be incurred. Typically, I have done my own house cleaning, but in 2016, I was faced with some challenges that included surgery, and decided to have my house done professionally - at least temporarily. A friend of mine who has been with J & J House Cleaning for approximately 10 years, recommended them to me.

I was so pleased with Jerry and his staff that I decided to continue with their services. In addition to monthly maintenance cleaning, I have also had Jerry and crew handle the window washing and carpet cleaning. Their services are reasonably priced and they are professional, punctual, and accommodating. Highly recommended!
