George Grillo founded Grillo Oriental Rugs in 1966, after having worked for and learned from masters of the Boston Oriental rug trade. Mr. Grillo has devoted his entire adult life to studying, dealing in, and caring for handmade Oriental rugs. He is a member of the Appraisers Association of America.

Really lovely people to do business with. Two very respectful men came to get the rugs (face masks already in place!) and the same men brought them back so they were familiar with rug placements. My original inquiry via the web site was answered very quickly. All involved are obviously very knowledgeable about caring for oriental rugs. Would recommend to everyone who needs rug oriental cleaning service

Have had several older and antique Persian carpets washed and a some minor repairs done by Grillo. They are very knowledgeable, with fair pricing, and good customer service. One Bidjar in particular came back to us looking like a new rug. Colors we hadn't noticed before jumped out and we knew the guys did a great job.

Grillo rug performs the ultimate deep rug cleaning! They really know their stuff! Frank was very professional, helpful and easy to work with. I was given accurate estimates via phone with descriptions of our needs. We chose to bring the rugs personally but they will come to your home for a fee. Prices were more reasonable than local businesses that don't actually do a TRUE professional DEEP Cleaning!
I was happily surprised they were able to remove the staining in a couple of our rugs. Upon arrival, I was extremely impressed with the beautiful rugs on display as well as the friendly easy going personality of Frank! Overall, I recommend Grillo Oriental Rugs for both cleaning and purchasing needs. We will never use any other rug cleaning service! Thanks again Grillo rug! After I dropped off my orientals, Mr Grillo called me within 48 hours to review what I desired and explained the various options. We had a good discussion, and then I choose the care levels that I wanted to achieve. Having had these rugs cleaned and repaired previously this attention was new to me and extremely helpful. Boy was I pleased with the result. The rugs came back repaired and cleaned. They look great - after FORTY years. Highly recommend!

Wonderful customer service, Mr. Grillo personally took the time to show me the whole process of how the rugs are cleaned in the back room. It was very interesting! My beautiful oriental had been trashed by my cats and they made it look good as new! Bright fresh and clean again. Very reasonable prices - excellent customer service From every staff member on site.
