Dry cleaning, the process itself: Dry cleaning uses fluids to remove soils and stains from fabrics.
You'll quickly find that we're remarkably flexible when it comes to scheduling your service. In fact, you can customize your own pick-up and delivery schedule, since a valet driver is regularly in your neighborhood. One feature of our FREE pick-up and delivery service that you'll quickly come to appreciate is that you don't need to be home for pick-up or delivery.
GUM: To remove chewing gum from kids clothing - harden the gum on the garment with ice; it will become brittle, and can be chipped off, wash thoroughly to remove any sugar. CANDLE WAX: Place the stained area between paper towels, or pieces of brown paper, and press with a warm iron to absorb the wax.
Whether it's a broken button, previously unseen spot, or color fading, imperfect results are a problem. Damage that occurs during the dry cleaning process may stem from the failure of a component part to be dry cleanable or from the circumstances of use. Regardless, dry cleaning customers need to know who is responsible for damaged items and what recourse they have to remedy the situation.

Eastgate cleaners has done numerous things for my family throughout the years from dry cleaning our clothes to helping my parents after their home was damaged from smoke. They have never turned down any of our special requests. We have needed last minute service and they completely came through for us. They cleaned all of my kids childhood stuffed animals and they turned out amazing. Cannot say enough about their service. Pam M

TL:DR I dropped my coat off for cleaning and I picked it up ruined. I was offered zero compensation for my ruined item. I asked if there would be an issue cleaning it when I dropped it off and was assured by staff at the drop off location that they had experience cleaning wool coats and not to worry. Staff contacted me during the cleaning process to obtain "verbal permission" to clean a scarf I had dropped off.
I again asked if they were certain they could clean my coat without damage. I was again reassured that the coat would be fine. The initial staff that called to report the damage was reluctant to even offer a refund for the cleaning cost. The managerial staff I spoke with offered no compensation for my ruined coat stating I needed to contact the manufacturer. Unfortunately, my item was vintage.
I would excercise extreme caution if you chose to drop anything off at this location. Other reviews mention a lack of compensation for lost pants. Apparently that extends to ruined items as well.

This is the only dry cleaner my family uses. We have pick up and delivery for business attire. The service has always been thorough, and incredibly efficient. We have also used this facility for smoke damaged items, and the care and communication was greatly appreciated when taking care of sentimental items. Service: Delivery

Great customer service! I've never had anything but polite and professional service from the owner and employees. They always go above and beyond to accommodate whatever it is we need. So nice to have such a great resource so close. Thanks! I'd be skeptical of bizarrely negative reviews, sounds like someone might be working through something else.

Eastgate cleaners lost my new suit pants after some alterations and would not reimburse me. I stopped in three times to ask about them and called three times with no luck. After 6 weeks I repurchased them and asked for them to reimburse me and the owner would not pay, threatened me, and bumped into me while pushing me out of the store and slammed the door in my face.

Waited a month for printer ink to come in. Stopped in and was told it would be in the next day. Went back up there two days later and the employee that was there had no idea what she was doing. Couldn't find our order, what it was or how many cartridges we needed. They didn't have our order put up anywhere so she just took some off the shelf. After about 10 minutes waiting for her to figure out what she was doing i was given some ink cartridges just to get back to work and find out they were the wrong ones.

Worst customer service ever! Took a 200 dollar coat to get clean and have a inside pocket sewed. got the coat back the sewed the outside pocket shut. when called to explain I was yelled at. in person they won't let me talk without trying to tell me it's my fault. When they mark what pocket when I dropped it off. then they try to tell me I had to pay 5 bucks to fix their mess up. When I raised my voice over 5 bucks they threatened to call the cops. Then try to tell me to pray. really? Don't go please!
