The first reason is wicking. Many times, the spot that is being removed has seeped into the backing of the carpet. This is common with pet urine, beverages, and anything that is spilled in "volume". The material dries in the backing and the cushion (pad) of the carpet. When the spot is cleaned, only the material in the "pile" of the carpet is removed.

Toni came quickly on a Saturday when we woke to a mess on our carpets from a sick dog. Several stains were left on synthetic carpet and on an area rug. He was an expert in recognizing the area rug as valuable and guided us in the correct way to clean this rug. Thank you for taking our emergency call on a Saturday morning. Tony was great! He cleaned our carpets, rugs, and our upholstery. But he can also clean grout and tile flooring. When that time comes we will use him again, no doubt. Tony was incredible! We had 4 rooms, stairs and a sectional sofa cleaned. He arrived on time and the man has a method! I've never seen anyone pay such attention to detail.
