Best Maids is outstanding. They always take great care to be very thorough. They show up on time and give you an email a few days in advance to confirm when they will be here. I can recommend Best Maids for residential house cleaning without reservation!

They do not hire black people. Ms. Jocelyn was racist my entire interview, she didn't greet me she didn't smile and she barely wanted to interview me. She made me uncomfortable and nervous and I knew only because I was BLACK.

Change time with little notice. Was supposed to have cleaner today. They were late and parked blocking driveway. When I complained and said I wouldn't use the again they pulled the cleaner. Not very professional and claimed that I was not telling them they issue.

I have been a client of Best Maids for almost 4 years. Up until this year we had virtually no problems. But their new general manager, Jocelyn, is the rudest and most unprofessional person I've dealt with. On two occasions they have cancelled service with no notice and on 2 separate occasions (today being one of them) they have claimed to be at my home (I work from home, btw) to clean and never showed but wanted to charge me a fee.

They CONSTANTLY change their arrival times from morning to late evening due to staffing issues. I've been flexible as I often can make it work but to lie is an entirely different story. Today, when I asked to speak to Jocelyn's manager she informed me that there was no one above her and that she didn't appreciate me questioning her. So as opposed to continuing to questioning her terrible customer service and scheduling policies, I just cancelled my services at both my locations. As a business owner myself, I understand that COVID has caused businesses to be short-handed but there is never an excuse for poor customer service. Do better.

I had a few minor communication issues from them, as well as different arrival timings given. They could work a bit more on those. Overall, they were very good and followed all the instructions I gave them. I especially loved that they had sent me a detailed email about the services I had requested, before I decided to book them. In fact, that was one of the main reasons why I went with them.

I do suggest that in the future, perhaps offer first-time customer discounts, especially on long jobs. I ended up having to pay a lot more than what they had quoted me. However, I am still satisfied with their cleaning and would probably use their services again. UPDATE: I decided to change my 4-star rating to 3-stars based on new information I was given about the cleaners.

I recently talked to my brother who was there during the actual cleaning and had monitored everything. He told me about a couple of incidents which do not reflect the best customer service. The cleaners had missed a few areas and when my brother brought those to their attention, one of the cleaners gave him some attitude and was not very happy about it.

This doesn't reflect their guaranteed policy about going over areas which they haven't cleaned well or have missed. If their customer service doesn't cater to the satisfaction that is promised to the customer, then it's not a very reliable service. I do stand by my initial comments about their overall good cleaning. But it still looks like they need to work a bit more on customer satisfaction. After my brother's observations, along with the somewhat high price compared to the services rendered, I do not think I'd use them again.

Nurhan is the best! She not only pays attention to detail she is very accommodating and quick to respond if you have any questions or need a few other things done. She is very thorough. Service: Standard cleaning

I've used Best Maids since 2016 and they were great. The only reason I ended service is because I moved. The prices are reasonable, the service is good and most importantly, I've never had any missing items which I've heard is sometimes a problem with cleaners. They were also VERY good with and nice to my dog who needed them to say Hi and pet her before she would let them work. :

My mom is elderly and suffers from mobility and memory issues. She hasn't permitted me to visit her home in a few years and will only meet out or at my home. I finally told her I was coming in her house with or without her permission. What we found was heartbreaking. She hadn't cleaned in many years and it was a bad situation. I called Best Maids and they were the most responsive and professional on the phone as well as via electronic information.

They were a little late (30 minutes). This is my only complaint. I explained that it was a severe deep clean. The 2 women who were sent to my moms worked extremely hard and I am so impressed at how clean they were able to restore furniture and windows that I thought couldn't be cleaned due to nicotine stains and neglect. I would highly recommend Best Maids.

Best Maids has been my cleaning service for as long as they've been in business. I have never felt the need to complain about about the work. They consistently deliver miraculous results! They have my business for good!

The first cleaning experience was mixed. There were supposed to be two cleaners for the initial "deep cleaning" but only one showed. I understand things happen and she spent nearly 5 hours and did a thorough job, but did make me late for work. My second experience was awful. The reason I hired them was due to me having surgery. I emailed them the Friday before with fool-proof pictures is my alarm keypad with the codes and which buttons to hit.

Someone that was 5 years old and didn't speak any language could have figured it out. I also called to confirm they received the email and they confirmed and thanked me. So what happens? They call me as I'm laying on a hospital gurney being wheeled I get a call that the cleaners cannot get into my house. My friend is trying to communicate with me (he answered the phone) and I'm under the influence of pre-op meds trying to explain ALL OF THE STEPS I TOOK TO PREVENT THAT EXACT SITUATION!

When we got back to my house, no one had been in the house we were both less than impressed with the cleaning. My alarm code showed they had been in and out in just over an hour. I have a 1400 SQ foot house. And I was charged full rate. I will never ever use them again.

I have pleasure of having Maria clean my home. She comes on time and does a superior job. She is caring and a kind person. Respects my home and my time. Best Maids has been the best for the services I require. again Maria is the BEST!

Great first experience with Team Mango at Best Maids! I had been using Handy off and on for years due to convenience and affordability (but was left upset more often than not, and then they stole from me.) Anyways, I booked Best Maids after having seen the cars around my Hyde Park neighborhood. While they are a bit more expensive they are WORTH IT. They did an incredibly thorough job and was more like a "deep clean" than a basic clean! Super satisfied. Thanks, Lizbeth and Alejandra with Team Mango!

Rocio and Maria are amazing!! We’ve been through 4 cleaning services over the past few years and no one has been as meticulous. The house is spotless and sparkling when they leave and customer service is friendly and professional.

We used BestMaids some months ago for a period of a few months and we were unhappy with the service. We have clutter and the maids over time did less and less to help us actually stay clean- if there was something, anything, on a surface it wasn't touched or moved to clean underneath. Never vacuumed underneath the sofas or anything. So we canceled for a few months and then planned to try Molly Maids out. Molly Maids was a no show, so we called BestMaids back. Todays cleaning was a very thorough, excellent job.

I think it just matters who the specific maids are, so I want to recommend Violet, Lupe, and Elvia- the place is shining! They truly did an exceptional job. Every single surface has been cleaned, smells great, and is spotless. Even the surface of the sofas have been cleaned. As well as underneath. Found our dogs favorite toy too. Excellent job! We are lucky to have such a good experience this time around! Thank you!

I have been using Best Maids for over a year. They clean my condo plus also our building. Roscio and the Red team consistently do a fantastic job & are very thorough. I highly recommend their services!

We have been using BestMaids every other week for approximately 10 months. It started off great with one of two teams coming but then around the beginning of the new year we experienced many different teams. Sometimes the team would not bring correct supplies and did not seem to be aware of what to do. Each team did a decent job so we did not complain, although there were little things that would get missed. Then, approximately 2 months ago we noticed we were back to receiving the same team each time--Team Green - Luisa/Alma. They have been great. They consistently do an excellent job, know our house now and we are very satisfied. I highly recommend them!

Polite staff. Arrive in promised time frame. I enjoy that I do not have to supply cleaning tools or products. My girls Rocio and Oralia get the job done perfectly.

They have a good customer service. We have dogs and they make sure to check with us about scheduling. We use them weekly, so the house is always clean. Like any cleaning service, it's important to tell them what your expectations are. Every time there was an issue, we communicated with them and they were very responsive.

Best Maids has been cleaning my home monthly since the fall. They arrive on-time and do a great job. They are very well priced for the Chicagoland area. They bring all their own equipment. Their products are very good for those with allergies and asthma.

We love Francesca and Wtadzia! They always do a thorough job when they come to our place and even go above and beyond in putting nice touches on the places they clean (organizing and folding kitchen towels, etc). They're not rushed and make sure all surfaces (even shoe trays) are dusted, wiped down and cleaned. Another crew came once when they weren't available and did an OK job, but these ladies are always my preference

Marisol from team green does an excellent job even with the small details (because that matters to me the most). The work is done thoroughly and she's very approachable when it comes to my specific needs.

I have used Best Maids bi-weekly for 15 years+ and I couldn't be more pleased. They know how to clean without my direction. They wipe surfaces (tops of doors, etc.) I would totally forget and I usually have to say nothing to insure the house is well-cleaned. Furthermore, the owner is very strict with the employees regarding honesty so I don't have to worry about items being pilfered.

We had best maids come out to our house last week and do a deep clean before family came in to town for a visit. They did a WONDERFUL job! When I first walked in my house looked, felt and smelled different. I didn't want to put anything down on the counters because it looked so perfect. I will definitely be calling them again to come out. Thank you so much!

I used different cleaning services in the past but I was never completely satisfied. I was almost ready to give up when I stumbled upon Best Maids approximately 7 years ago and I have been using them ever since. I never had any issues with the cleaning. The cleaning ladies know exactly what I need and they get the job done. They have keys to my house so that they can clean the house while I'm at work.

Upon my return the house always smell so clean and it makes my life easier. I'm not sure why other people had bad experience with them but I would totally recommend them. They are the best service and I want to keep them forever : Thank you Best Maids for helping me keep my house clean!

Not pleased. Had them clean a new rental property for me and they just didn't do a great job. Streaks on the glass, foot prints showing on the hard wood floors and streaks on the stainless steal. The cabinets were not even wiped down properly. Waste of money in my opinion.

2015 A total waste of money. They were supposed to do a spring cleaning. I was very specific about what I wanted done and that they were to be careful not to ruin my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Well, they did not even attempt to dust the dressers saying that falls under organizing and costs extra (by the way they did straighten the night stands in one bedroom, I wonder what the difference is).

I replied that I did not ask you to organize just clean. they destroyed the finish on my $2000.00 stainless stove. They charged me for folding my laundry and did not fold one item. And let me not forget that they were supposed to be at my house between 2 and 3pm. At 3:20 I called to see where they were and was told they are in front of your house now.

That was a lie because I was looking out of my window when I called. At that I was told Oh, they passed your house and are on the way back. Another lie because my street is only 2 blocks long and no one drove by. When I tried to get the lady to clean the dressers I was told that they did not have time. Is it my fault that you arrived late? These people should not be in business at all and I wonder how they stay in business.

Totally UNACCEPTABLE! UPDATE: They issued a full refund and paid to repair my stove. They asked for a second chance to come back and do the job right. I declined but after not finding another company I liked I gave them a second chance. It was a little better BUT they charged me full price and charged me to fold the laundry again without even folding one item.

I called them and asked why they didn't fold and was told the staff could not find the laundry room. LIARS, when the crew walked in the door I took her downstairs and specifically took her to the laundry room and told her to fold. I went to work and my son took over and also took her to the laundry room when she asked where it was. She is a bold face liar like the first crew that came.

They changed me $230.00 including the price of folding and had to come back a second time to do it because the lady lied and said she couldn't find the laundry room. Don't hire them unless you are prepared to clean up after them and be over charged. I am not difficult to please but I do expect to get what I pay for. I would gladly pay any price to have the job done right and best maids DOES NOT DO THE JOB RIGHT. Edith M.'s review is ridiculous!

Find another service to do your cleaning. Anything that you ask the staff, they will agree to, primarily because they don't understand what you are saying. They use your cleaning supplies, which is perfectly acceptable. However on each visit areas are missed that were supposed to be included in the cleaning. When this or other issues are brought to the owner's attention, she refuses to admit or compensate you for any wrongdoing. Save yourself aggravation, and choose a different company.

I've been using Best Maids for little over two years now and every time I am very satisfied with their service. They're always on time, and responsive to my requests. They usually send the same team, but there are times they send a different team. However quality of the cleaning is always the same, except for some personal touches of each team.

I would absolutely recommend Best Maids to anyone looking for house cleaning. The women are super friendly and their girls at the office are also very nice and helpful. I cannot imagine using a different house cleaning service.

I used this cleaning service about a month ago and suffice it to say, I wish I had not. They left door hangers on all the door knobs in my high rise saying that they had clients in the building and if I booked my cleaning on the same day as their other clients, I would receive a discount. I called to make an appointment and was told over the phone that I would be charged one price, only to have that price inflated by $20 I was told that was the price would be a bit more the first time because it was considered a "deep cleaning." How come after the "deep cleaning" I found dirt on my window sills, and crumbs on my kitchen floor and dust on my bedroom television.

Not only that, they consistently showed up in my building unannounced assuming that I wanted them to come back the following week until my door man finally told them that I no longer needed their services. Save the money and clean your own house.
