Do not take your clothes here. I dropped off my wedding dress in August, being told it would be done (cleaned and a couple buttons sewn on) in about a month and they would give me a call. I called numerous times over the next 6 months to be told they needed to check on it and would call me back (they never did). I finally received a call at the end of February saying it was done.

When I went to pick it up I saw that one of the bra pads that was sewn into the dress was now safety pinned to the outside of the bag. When I asked about it they said it must have gotten detached (it was attached when I dropped it off). I opened the bag to find out that the dress HAD NOT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED! I asked "was this cleaned" and their response was "it was pretty trashed when we got it". It was very obviously never cleaned and the buttons were never sewn on. Huge waste of time using this place. I took my dress elsewhere to be cleaned.

Great customer service and they take great care of my clothes! I send them a lot of designer items that can be tricky and they always perform flawlessly.

The tailor here used to work at Saks and it shows. My new used shirts turned out wonderfully after bringing them here for fitting. The tailor at the Uptown Bee location had retired days prior which left this tailor picking up the slack, understandably causing service delays. Between the time I dropped my shirts off and the scheduled pick up time, there was a death in my family and I needed one of them for the funeral.

I made a phone call and was told I would have the shirt that I wanted in time. When I arrived to pick it up, both of the shirts were ready! The work did not appear rushed at all. I appreciate the compassionate responsiveness to my needs as a customer. I will definitely recommend this place for alterations!

Great quality and outstanding service with a personal touch! Bee does a much better job than other cleaners I've tried, the best possible in my opinion, and this has held true for over 20 years that I've been a customer. Bee also offers quality alterations / repairs at reasonable prices, not to mention pick up and delivery services. Hats off to Jay and his excellent team. They're the best!

I called to have some work done. I explained that I was green to this and didn't know all they're lingo's. I wanted my jeans creased and starched. I also stated I was going to cali in 5 days. I dropped off the jeans, everything seemed fine. Some more stuff happened to come in the mail that day so I took it in a few hours later. Come to find out none of my items were set to be creased.

So the guy I was talking to said he would fix it. I said I wanted everything creased and starched. So finally I get to go and pick up my items. Well as soon as I get there I can look from a distance and see there were no creases in either of my shorts. When I took a closer look the jeans were only creased up to the knees. I complained and what seemed to be the owner told the clerk that the job wasn't done.

Still somehow the clerk got out of that conversation when the owner said someone could fix it with an iron. I said I'm leaving for Cali in 2 days I don't have time for this. They still made me pay for work they didn't even do! I will never return to this place. Even if they replace all the ignorence with robots I wouldn't return. I bought me an iron so I know the job will get done right. If this was a restaurant there work ethics would kill most of their customer base with food poisoning.

Ran off the road by this bozo. No idea why you would do so using a work vehicle but here we are. Never going to your establishment, maybe learn to drive and you wouldn't lose more business than you already are.

The cutest thing any woman's ever seen. No I'm not talking about a boy or a baby, I'm talking about the adjustments to my Sezane skirt. Perfection. I'll do my best to remark on the quality of service.because it was like having an after school tea party; Nanay. Nothing is more special in this world in which an apartheid of consciousness is decided. Entonces, para proclamar el milagro de ello: nuestro vecindario, colgado alli, vivo en el vacio negro! (To proclaim the miracle of it - our neighborhood, hanging there, alive in the black void.) I'm curious about the dry cleaning business too.

In January 2018, Trump imposed protective tariffs on solar panels and washing machines reaching 30% - 50% thus initiating Donald Trump's Trade War (the Art of War, ie. the Art of the Deal). A normal U.S. tariff on foreign goods is 1.6%.

Miracle workers! I have a fairly large rug (8'x5')that was soiled by our family dog (I'll spare you the gruesome details, but yes, it was the worst stain damage a dog could do with both ends of his body. If you're not squeamish then feel free to ask.) We tried spot cleaning but that did not work and the smell was just about the worst thing I've encountered so far in all my years of pet ownership.

The damage was deep in the threads/weave of the rug. I thought it was ruined until my girlfriend made a few calls to some cleaners and happened upon Bee Cleaners. Right off the bat they were super friendly and helpful. They picked it up and 4 magical days later they dropped it back off. NO stain, NO smell! Perfect! I was concerned about the rug shrinking or warping and it looked almost as good as the day I bought it. All at a very reasonable price! Serious magical stuff, I think Bee's should change their name to Hogwarts Magical Cleaners.

Like many others on here we have had bad experiences with this cleaners. To say the least they ruined several articles of my clothing. Would highly suggest avoiding this place if possible!

When I brought in my teal robe, they were worried the feathers would get destroyed during the cleaning especially because of the amount of broken and melted candy that got stuck in it. I told them the gown was a high quality garment with real marabou feathers and that I was assured by the designer it would hold up. I felt confident they would do their best, besides it was totally unwearable in its current state.

During pick up my gown was perfection! They went above and beyond. They delicately removed all the candy and spent time looking through the feathers to make sure it was gone. I was incredible grateful and I told them they won my business! I would trust all my delicates in their hands! Thank you so much again for saving my gown!

My friend decided to get her wedding dress altered here since they did a nice job on her sister's dress last year. We dropped it off, she told the seamstress what she wanted (fairly standard stuff, like make it shorter, give it a bustle, take it in here and there), and left. When we came back, the bust still didn't fit right, and the bustle was.bizarre.

My friend told the seamstress what she didn't like, and the seamstress said she'd fix it. We came back again and there were still the same problems. Instead of just taking the dress in like my friend asked for, the seamstress put strangely shaped boning in it, and did nothing to fix the odd bustle that my friend hated (and rightly so as it made a weird flap that hung down like a diaper, and made the silhouette look weird from the front).

So now my friend's mom is having to do some emergency alterations three days before her wedding. My friend was not listened to, no matter how many times she asked for what she wanted. It was extremely frustrating to have to go back that many times and still have the same problems with the dress.

Dropped my dress of on Monday to be pressed. They said it would be done Wednesday, which was perfect because I had a big event on Thursday. When I went to fetch said dress, they couldn't find it and when they did, it "was just hanging off to the side and hasn't been pressed." Luckily one of their colleagues took it to another location to be pressed and they asked me to return at 3:30 pm to pick it up.

When I called to see if they could possibly deliver it to my office, a few blocks away, they hung up on me. Customer service is usually great here, but this experience was disappointing.

Bee is supposed to pick up and drop off at my workplace every Wednesday. Sometimes weeks go by without them returning or picking up. They keep sending bills before returning clothes.

I've brought clothes in to be repaired twice. Regarding a winter coat, I asked for all of the pockets to be relined. I pointed out there were three. They repaired two of them: the right outer pocket still has a hole in the lining. Months later, I brought in a pair of slacks to repair a broken zipper. They did not repair the zipper, but they did dry clean the slacks. Bee Cleaners is not attentive to the work that they do and cannot be trusted to do right by your clothing.

I am new to the Portland area and after moving my down comforter obtained some damage. I came in today to have them repair the holes and clean it, with great reviews online I thought Bee Tailors and Cleaners would be a great place to go. WRONG. The lady at the front was sweet but when the seamstress came to look at it she handled my comforter as if I had soiled myself several times In it without having it cleaned.

She then told me it "smelled like doodie" and told me no, that she wouldn't fix it. I take pride in the fact that I am a very clean individual. This item has been cleaned and repaired by others and never have I been treated this way. I am frugal and the comforter is old and has stains but I feel completely disrespected as a potential patron. I will NOT be trying this dry cleaners ever again. Thanks for nothing and happy freakin holidays.

I brought in two items that needing mending, one for an upcoming trip that was two weeks out when I brought them in. They told me it would take two weeks and I stressed that I absolutely needed the items back by the date written on my receipt. I called the morning that they were supposed to be due to make sure that I could pick them up and was told they would be ready at 5pm.

I again stressed that I was leaving town and I absolutely needed to be able to pick them up. I arrived just before 5pm and the seamstress was already gone for the day and my items were not ready. Not even started. I took my items and left and had to find something else to take on my trip the next day. Maybe I should have gone with my gut and not left them at a place that was bumping up on my deadline, but it was convenient to my work downtown and I had used them before for cleaning without issue.

It's always wonderful to do business with a company with good business values and ethics but The Bee Cleaners is not one of them. I live in a high rise building in Portland and love the idea of dropping off my dry cleaning at the front desk and knowing it will be returned to my building beautifully dry cleaned. Instead my most favorite cocktail dress never returned.

They had no ticket in their computer and blamed the concierge in my building for losing it or maybe the owner thought I was lying to him. All dry cleaning and packages are kept in a locked room so it seems unlikely that anyone stole a blue dress. It was a $495. dress. I asked him in good faith to reimburse me $100. Never heard a word from him. My business has no value to him. So from now on I'll take my dry cleaning to The Plaza where I know they care about their customers.

I stopped coming here for the following reasons: 1) The customer service people were often unfriendly and sometimes rude. One time they lost a few of my shirts. When I attempted to address this they did nothing to make it right to the point of trying to convince me that I never had that many shirts. But I am forgiving so I gave them more chances. Sometimes mistakes happen. 2) I brought tailoring and they made mistakes/poor alterations multiple times like buttons popping off that were just replaced.

One example: I brought in a small quantity of new shirts to have fitted. I was told it would take 3 weeks (a long time!) and it was expensive. After I got them back I discovered that only 1 was done- they forgot to do the rest! When I brought them back they made me wait another 3 weeks and gave no credit or real apology or anything for the poor service. Furthermore, because it was now perceived as a difficult job (because they screwed it up) they decided to short cut the job by cutting the sleeve plaiting, which reduced the quality of the new shirts. 3) Due to the above I decided to switch to custom made shirts.

After I brought in my new shirts for cleaning many of the buttons were returned cracked and many of the collars were sloppily smashed during pressing. (ex: a very well made brand new $150 designer Hawaiian shirt came back with a completely smashed top button). Just shoddy half-hearted work overall. Finally, I read the responses from the owner to some of the poorer reviews on another site.

The responses themselves are rude, entitled, and a very poor way of second guessing what your customers are actually trying to tell you. Your low number of stars speak for themselves. If your staff had done anything to make things right on numerous occasions I would have been happy to remain a customer but you guys blew it over and over again.

I picked my wedding gown up from my final fitting and got makeup on it pulling it over my head--a week before I was supposed to fly to the East Coast to get married. My dress was extremely simple and the makeup stain was front and center--no way to hide it! My tailor sent me straight to Bee Cleaners. I spent the few days panicking, naturally, but in the end it was wasted energy--when I picked it up it was good as new!

There was a little snafu where the computer wasn't updated to show that the dress was done, so when I called to follow up because I hadn't heard anything, the person who answered the phone couldn't give me any updates. However, they took my name and info, and I got a follow up call first thing the next morning to let me know it was done.

Very disconcerting in the moment, given that it was my wedding dress and we were down to the wire, but well-handled given the circumstances. Took the dress back after the wedding to have it cleaned and they did a great job--you can't even tell anymore that the dress dragged around on the floor of the pub at the afterparty. Affordable, too. Good work.

They recently lost my expensive shirt. When I called them they told me they will call me back but never did. The frontline staff didn't care and the management denies any wrongdoing. They provide no receipt when you leave your clothes with them so you have no way to hold them accountable. Stay away.

Great cleaners and great service. I was heading out of town and forgot my dry cleaning. I called five minutes before they closed Jay offered to stay there late and wait for me. I explained that I was 45 minutes away. Jay, the owner, personally walked my clothes over to the store across the street that so I could pick up my clothes before my trip. Way to go above and beyond.

This is a neither a dry cleaner nor an entity that provides customer service. It is a risk management company that tries in innumerable ways to avoid paying for damages to customer garments. Pants shrunk in cleaner process; lost sweater; and, zipper damaged by heat. My fault for going back a second and third time. Ironically, I had similar experiences with the earlier generation of owners who refused to accept responsibility for 10 damaged shirts. My bad.

Ruined my hat and wouldn't compensate. Instead of making it right, ownership chose to defend their process and technique.which included tumble drying a wool baseball cap. If you need something custom cleaned, I'd avoid Bee at all costs.

Went in for a simple alteration. Hem the sleeves of my sport coat. It cost me 45$, took longer than expected and turned out terrible. My jacket is ruined. I should have known better when I walked in to drop it off.

I took two pairs of rare selvedged Japanese jeans in to have the lower leg tapered. I chose Bees because I was told they were the best. Rather than taking the tapper out of the interior leg seam, they completely cut out the red line selvedged edge on the outside seam! They didn't call or ask which seam to cut. I thought they were the tailor experts!? $40 for the tapper + $30 more to try to fix the situation (yes, they actually charged me to fix their mistake) + $500 for the two pairs of jeans. I'm out $570 now and will not be going back. Completely inexcusable.

This place is the worst. I dropped off some pants to be dry cleaned and hemmed, picked them up only to realize they were never hemmed. Well, that sucks! I came back to the tailor and asked if they hemmed them and they said "Oh, I guess we forgot." So they said they would then do it and I had to wait two weeks (their customer service sucks, they don't call customers when their clothes are ready apparently).

I came back and they realized they still never hemmed the pants. So I waited two more weeks and came back a third time. This time, they couldn't find the pants anywhere and told me I would need the ticket in order to locate my clothes. So I went back to my office, and they were finally able to locate them. The pants are now hemmed and run still a little long. Given the other negative reviews, you're better off going someplace else.

I would recommend Bee Cleaners to anyone who needs a suit pressed or bridal gown cleaned (especially if you need a bridal gown spot cleaned). They have amazing customer service, and I use them on a regular basis because they pick up and drop off dry cleaning at my place of business. My first tailoring experience with them was a tricky one - I needed a zipper replaced on a tea length bridal dress that I had purchased from China.

The dress was returned to me without a new zipper. I called them promptly to let them know that I had needed the zipper completely replaced, and they did not do that. I spoke with the manager who offered to come pick up the dress the exact same day and have it back to me the following day. He picked it up at my home the following day, and had it back to me that afternoon with the new zipper on it, and it looked great and worked well.

Their free delivery has been a life saver for me. I had them clean my bridal gown, which they picked up at my home and brought in, and we kept in touch via phone throughout the spot cleaning process (I bought my gown secondhand). They felt that they couldn't get the dress as clean as they wanted, so they did not charge me - but my wedding dress was spotless.

They have also done an excellent job cleaning the many coats/jackets I have sent their way. However, when I had my husband's dress shirts recently laundered, the shirts were wrinkled when they were returned to me. I did not have time to have them dropped off and ironed again by Bee because we needed them for an event a day later, so I had to iron the shirts myself.

The person I spoke with at Bee assured me they would refund the cost of laundering the shirts to me. They refunded the charge to me as a credit onto my account. Again - I highly recommend them for wedding gown cleaning, they are the best in Portland from what I have heard, and my experience with them definitely reflected that sentiment.

Horrible. They don't know how to press shirts. They destroy the collars by pressing them incorrectly. This isn't rocket science. I just spent an hour fixing dress shirts I need for a trip back east, attempting to put the creases where they belong. They have destroyed two of my shirts, both times at the collar, and refused to pay for them. One was a brand new shirt, delivered to them in the store packaging.

They didn't take the collar stays out, resulting in shiny marks outlining the collar stays (which were bent and useless from the heat). I've lived in Portland for 35 years. Bee used to the be the best. Oh, they're still the best - at destroying your clothes and taking no responsibility. Don't go here.

I have used this location for over 2 years now and I have to say they are great in what they do. I used the cleaning service and the tailoring as well. They did a great job at it and they definitely have good pricing as well. Most of my clothe are designer clothe and I can leave them my clothe knowing they will not deteriorate it which is great. The service is excellent and fast.

You usually have to wait 2-3 days until your order is complete. I am not sure if they're doing 24hrs turn-a-round but it might be worth asking them. And the best of all, they're environmental friendly. Thank you BEE!
