My husband Gary and I recently had our deck restored by Charlie Soden and his crew from Apex DeckSavers. They did an outstanding job and we are very pleased with their work. They replaced all the rail boards, vigorously cleaned all the wood (much work), replaced some warped and/or rotten floor boards, sanded the wood, pounded down loose nails and/or applied screws as needed, and applied new stain (with a color of our choice).

After many years our deck had greatly deteriorated. However, after Charlie and his crew did their magic, our deck now looks like a new deck. We could not be happier. These guys are true pros in what they do. We give Apex DeckSavers a 5 stars rating.

Contacted them a year ago and someone came out to take a look at restaining my deck. Then I never heard from them again after repeated follow-ups I was completely ghosted. A year or so later I decided to give them another try - maybe they were having some teething issues? This time I didn't even get a reply to my initial email. They might be good if they ever respond to you, but who knows.

Charlie and his company, Apex DeckSavers, were hired to repair and stain our outdoor upper and lower decks, including stairs and a fence surrounding out patio and a walkway. Their work is outstanding. We're thrilled. Plus, they were friendly and courteous -- and even helped me jumpstart my car when my battery was dead - over and beyond their job description. We highly, highly recommend Apex DeckSavers.

Charlie was a big help in restoring our large three tier deck. We made a huge mistake a few years ago and had the deck painted with Behr deck over. After only 1 year the paint started to peel and blister and and things continued to get worse year after year. I was on the verge of replacing 100% of the horizontal decking but decided to give Charlie a shot at restoration.

They stripped all the old paint, brightened the wood, and sanded everything down. The deck turned out great and I actually like the look of the old boards better than the new ones after everything was stained. The deck now has a nice rustic feel. Charlie also helped with some general deck repairs which all turned out great. We had another company paint and stain but used Charlies knowledge to pick out a stain product called TWP. Highly recommend and will use again if needed.

Delighted with the job that Apex DeckSavers did for me! The deck had been badly weathered, rotted in places. They completely stripped it down to the wood in a few hours. Replaced wood, sanded it smooth, and started over with a beautiful transparent light gray oil based stain. They even corrected some issues that were causing water to sit on the deck.

As promised, on time, no surprises in the bill, great communication throughout, and the guys who did the work were so professional. Came back multiple times to follow up. It was an exceptional experience, wonderful customer service, and my deck looks incredible. I look forward to using them again in a year or so to do the maintenance. Apex DeckSavers did an outstanding job cleaning and staining my deck! I love the new look and wish I had done this long before now. I would highly recommend Charles and his crew at Apex DeckSavers.

I called them and filled out the contact us form on their website but never heard back. Not sure if they are still in business. If they are, I would have appreciated a call saying they were busy and wasn't taking new jobs.

I contacted this company twice and received no response. Even if they were fully scheduled, common courtesy and good business practice would garner a call back,

I went online in search of a contractor to repair and stain our deck, fence and front porch. To my surprise, this was no easy task. Some contractors we contacted were overpriced. Others had pictures of their work but, most looked at us like we were asking for their winning lottery ticket when we asked them for references and proof that their business was fully insured with both liability and workers comp. Insurance.

I must say that I was starting to give up on finding a reputable contractor but, then I stumbled onto the Apex Deck Savors Facebook website. To tell you the truth, the pictures on his website looked 'too good' and I was not sure want to expect but, I thought, well let me try one more time. I contacted Charlie of Apex Deck Savers via his Facebook website and made an appointment for a free estimate. Charlie responded promptly and went over the details of our project.

All I can say is that we are thrilled with our completed deck, porch and fence repair and staining. The craftsmanship and quality of the work performed are exceptional! Charlie's attention to detail and open communication with us insured that all our concerns were addressed prior to starting the project which saved us time and money. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Charlie and his team throughout the entire project.

He was pro-active in identifying areas of concern and helped develop effective alternatives. Apex Deck Savers is fully insured and they provided us with an exceptional experience. We truly appreciate his efforts and professionalism.

Charlie and his crew cleaned, sanded, repaired and stained our deck. They even moved the furniture off the deck and put it back when done. They were very nice to work with, paid attention to details and completed the work quickly. I highly recommend them as someone you can trust to be honest and do the job the right way.

Apex DeckSavers is probably the best Deck Restoration company I have ever worked with. Not only are they knowledgeable in their profession, but the quality of their work is next to none! I had Charlie, who is the owner and operator, come out to my house and give me an estimate. I have to admit, when I received the quote, I was a little shocked by the cost; however, I had no idea what all went into a project like that.

I assumed he just through some paint on it and it was done. I couldn't have been more wrong. He began to educate me on my deck and how to properly take care of it to enjoy it for years to come. His price included cleaning the deck, brightening it to restore the natural tone, sanding EVERYTHING, the floor boards and handrails to ensure a splinter free product, stained it with two coats of oil based stain which actually soaks into the wood and protects it for years to come.

Understanding the value of his service, I will definitely continue to use him for regular maintenance to prevent the huge cost of needing to rebuild one day. I've found my deck guy for life and will recommend Charlie to anyone and everyone. 5 Stars!

Apex Deck Savers did a fantastic job painting my front porch and sanding and staining my deck. The crew was meticulous in sanding and the finish looks great. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again.

The crew did a fantastic job! Cleaned (even the moldy part), sanded, replaced some pieces that had rotted away and did a great job staining. Looks like a brand new deck. The whole crew was so friendly and helpful. Honest, courteous, great job. Definitely use them again (this time before the deck gets so bad!).
